After a lot of bad bounces from by buddy during our last round I figured I'd make a dye to reflect it, Tree Magnet

Calumet Disc Dyes

Two more commissioned discs, both Medium Ions. I am aware that I got the skin tone a bit too dark on the Lebowski dye. It was my firs time using taupe and I left it in about 2-3 minutes too long. I also had some bleeding when doing the orange from the vinyl lifting (may have gotten the dye too hot when reheating in the middle of the dye time).
more shaving cream? how do you get multiple colors that look so good?
Yes to the shaving cream. I really like the look and everyone keeps asking for it for these commissioned discs.
Not sure how to answer your question about getting good colors. I let it sit for 20+ hours which seems to help get good, vibrant colors. Scarlet and royal blue both work really well it seems like. For the Captain Morgan disc, I use scarlet, royal blue, and golden yellow. The oranges, greens and purples came from the combination of those three. For the Lebowski disc, I used tangerine and neon pink. I didn't get as much pink in there as I would have liked but it still looks pretty good and helps cover up some of the bleeds I had.
