Trip to Cincinnati area

Hey all,

Im planning a little DG outing for me and a few buddies.

We are planning to play Idlewild, Mt. Airy and Lincoln Ridge.

Ive never played any courses outside of my local area.

Is there any thing to know about the courses or any must see stuff?

Also, does anyone know a place to tent camp near the courses?

You can camp at AJ jolly which also has a course.

Hey all,

I just got back from my Cincinnati trip and I must say it went great.

Idlewild and Mt. Airy really lived up to their reviews here. The Nati Disc Golf pro shop was absolutely awesome.

If anyone is planning a DG trip in this area they will surely not be disappointed.

Lincoln Ridge

You said that Mt. Airy and Idle lived up to expectations. What about Lincoln Ridge? Did it disappoint?

I just played rounds at Mt. Airy, and Lincoln Ridge. Mt. Airy was beautiful and I played 9 of 18 due to time restraints. Definately visit the pro shop, very friendly! I meet Jay Dub for a round at Lincoln Ridge which was a very enjoyable course. I am glad I visited Mt. Airy but Lincoln Ridge was more enjoyable for me because it was more inline with my ability. It challenged me with out being to hard for ME. If that makes sense. However at Lincoln Ridge bring your legs and an extra bottle of water. Its fun but definately a hike.

Yeah, I live a mile from there and play it quite often. It's a workout.
