The storm that blew though Carrollton was not kind to the course. There are trees down everywhere. I only drove by but it looks like at least hole 18 is almost unplayable. I really am afraid to look at the rest of the course. It's going to be a wide open course if we get another storm like that.
Scenic course in a neighborhood setting, almost entirely wide open with no intersecting fairways. Creek in play on most holes.
This is the 3rd redesign of the Original Greenbelt "A" course from 1986. This course was last redesigned in in 2012 although tee pads, upgraded baskets and new pin placements have been added. Most of the original course is no longer played. Some of the current holes are from the OG "B" course.
For tournament play, across the creeks and across sidewalks are considered out of bounds. In the few cases you throw over them, you have to clear to be considered in bounds. This makes hole 4 almost an island hole. This also gives you a very narrow landing zone for holes 3 and 16
