Pros:
+ Beginner-friendly pars.
+ Well upkept (as far as they can go with it anyway).
+ Despite it being mostly open-bomber based, a few technical shots are thrown in the mix.
+ Concrete tee pads.
+ Wooden bridges were installed along Holes 2 and 3's fairways over some of the worst areas for holding water after rain.
+ Baskets (mostly older Innova Discatchers - the one on Hole 11 is a newer replacement Discatcher) are in great condition.
+ Unlikely to lose a disc here except maybe in the case of the back 3 holes.
Cons:
- Some swampy areas. Again, some of the worst of this has bridges installed over it.
-- Could use an extra bridge for the walk from Hole 15 to 16.
- The geese. Yes, for some reason, there is a flock of geese that feels the park and course is their home, and they may attack you if you get too close. Watch for them to possibly camp in the middle of one of the fairways (Hole 1 is one of their favorites apparently) and have a backup course to play and kill time until they go elsewhere (which I had to do myself).
-- Watch out for geese droppings on Holes 1-3 as a result.
Other Thoughts:
Amenities:
- Parking: Plenty.
- Restrooms: Porta potty in the parking lot, as well as one by Hole 6's basket.
- Running water: None.
- Benches: On pretty much every tee as I recall.
- Trash cans: A few. There's even a recycle bin on Hole 16.
- Bag holders: None.
- Tee signs: Newer tee signs showing a map of the hole, par, and distance.
- Next tee/direction signs: On most baskets, there is an arrow hanging from underneath them which points to the next tee.
- Wheelchair/cart friendly: Likely so on at least most of the course - it's mostly flat with very little hills.
