Pros:
This course get's a higher score for the cool ascetic - it's a course with a theme, "The Dock," and it meets that name with barrels, a small boat, and a the tee pads make you feel like you're ... on a dock! This effort is worth rewarding with a higher review. The more we grow the sport the better, and this will type of course is fun.
The course also has prairie dogs all over it, which is really neat! I've never played on a course that feels like a dry zoo. The holes the critters make are a hazard, so you'll need to pay attention as you walk.
The course has only 9 baskets, but alternate tee positions for most of the holes to make 18.
GOOD
-There's a mailbox full of maps/score cards right at the start of the course. Grab One.
-The ascetic. The course has a theme, and that's cool!
-This course has something for both the hard core players and the casual/new ones. It's simple, and some of the holes are straight shots with nothing in the way. BUT, they've done a good job of placing baskets in hard to reach places. As an experienced player, I'd say the holes are easy to par but difficult to birdie. The better you are at judging your hyzer's in the wind, the better you'll score.
-This course was created by a brewery, and it's stationed behind it.
-Both Forehand and Backhand play well.
-There's a bathroom nearby, being at the brewery.
-Starting tee is right by the parking, and the last basket ends near the same place.
-There's a good amount of signage on the course to help you get from tee to tee.
Cons:
-Dirt tee pads, which play into the theme, but they're not as reliable as cement.
-There's not much shot shaping. Hyzer will get it done on almost every shot.
-Not much parking. You can park on the street, or at the brewery, but a crowd would fill us this place fast.
-Prairie dog holes are a walking hazard.
-Hole 3 is the longest shot on the course, about 400 feet or so, and the basket is pretty close to the road. A shot fading right (like a right hand backhand) could easily get into the road / hit a car.

COURSE BREAKDOWN:
-Hole 1/10 plays from the same tee pad. It's right in front of you off the tee. The basket is surrounded by ropes and wood to make it look like a dock. I'd say the circle has around a 45 foot radius around the basket.
-Hole 2/11's basket is impossible to see from the tee (great placement!). There are separate tee pads, with hole 11 being slightly longer. They're near each other and easy to see. The hole plays west, and the basket is behind a tall bush/ tree that is in a 15 foot wide ditch. (This ditch comes into play on many holes on the course. it runs through the entire park.) You'll want to land your disc around the bush out of sight from the tee. The basket is right on the edge of the ditch, so a shot into the ditch should still have a putt.
-Hole 3/12 have tee pads that are pretty far apart. 3 is near the road where the East/West street you park on meets the road heading North/South. Hole 12's tee is further along the ditch from where you putted on 2/11. Head NE from Hole 3 to get to Hole 11. Both shots are flat with nothing in the way. Hole 3 plays mostly along a rode, so throw that with caution to prevent hitting a vehicle.
-Hole 4/13 is north of 3/12's basket. The tee pads are 15-20 feet apart. Both shots play back towards the ditch you threw over on hole 2/11. This is an uphill shot, and 4's is a good pump. Getting to the top of the hill will give you a look at the putt. Crossing the ditch has you putting back at the basket with a possible roll away.
-Hole 5/14 are east of the last basket, again easy to find. Hole 5 has an extremely blocked off tee shot. You need to throw right of the ditch to avoid the brush and fade left to get to the basket. From the tee, you'll see the basket for hole's 8/17. Move right up the hill from the tee pad to see the correct basket which is further left. Controlling the fade is the hard part of this hole. You need to throw high over the brush and get the disc down. The land left of the basket moves downhill, so play this one wide enough to try to stick close. Hole 14 is a shorter version of this hole. It's still obstructed, but a right hand for hand has a clear lane to the basket.
-Head east of the last basket for the next tee pads. Hole 6/15 have a double-tree mando to hit off the tee. From the tee, you'll see the basket for holes 7/16, which make you think it's mostly a straight shot. This is the shot I played assuming that was the right basket. The actual basket, per the map, is hard to the left from the mando. Again, I messed this one up, so I can't provide much more detail.
-The tees for 7/16 are near the last basket. This shot plays south, back towards the brewery. The basket is near the back wall.
-The tees for 8/17 are a decent way apart. You get to 8 first from the last basket. It's a short downhill shot back towards the ditch. Go to long, you're in the ditch again. hole 17 is shorter. Walk along the brewery wall to find the tee pad. Similar shot to hole 8, with less distance.
-Hole's 9/18 play from the same tee. It's an uphill shot, mostly straight. The basket is blocked off by 6 barrels that are stacked in a pyramid. You see this when you get to the course. From the tee, you can't see the basket at all. The dirt tee pads really hurt this hole. You're footing slants from high left to low right, and there are bushes on your right side cutting off your swing a bit. A right hand back hand is probably a better shot if you want the disc to stick and stop. The basket sits on flat ground, but it slopes high left to low right like you're footing on the tee. I threw right hand forehand here and skipped a good 20 feet. A higher shot would have helped though.
CLOSING THOUGHTS:
I'm glad this course exists. It's fun, and it would be a great way to convince your friends to try the sport. You can even grab a six-pack from the brewery and go play.
