Im currently throwing Leopards and a Teebird for my fairways. One of my Leos is super beat and understable, turn it over everythrow. The other is lighter and new turns over less but still turns. The Tbird is pretty straight and E*.. im looking for a more stable fairway, and the things im thinking are Champ Tbird, Viper, or banshee.

thanks in advance

11x kc teebird CA or CAL... best fairway besides an older run leopard... I carry both.

but I'll beat someone to it and say eagle, though I don't throw them.

Eagles have less HSS and more LSS. I wouldnt really recommend it over the teebird as a wind fighter. Banshee is a good compliment to teebirds and leopards, that used to be my fairway set up.

I throw a champion eagle as my main fariway driver and 'Trifusal' has them pinned. I love that I can put a good rip on it and it will give a nice 's-turn' and fade pretty hard at the finish, or I can just give it a smooth toss and have her follow a very smooth line out to about 325'.

Not great into the wind unless you haven't got much of an arm, or unless you really over exaggerate your hyzer release.

You guys haven't thrown a good, beefy Eagle apparently. They handle headwinds just as well as TBs IMO. If you do go the Champ Teebird route, look for flat with a high PLH.

PS, Viper is more of a midrange than a driver per se. Innova's chart lies.

parting line height... if you look at the wing of the disc, there should be a line where the two halves of the mold came together.. that's the PLH

with just a little more research... the line changes both over time (as the mold ages) and between molds (ex: san marino roc v. rancho roc)... this affects the stability...

I believe more OVERstable....uno momento, I'll link the article.

banshee vote here:thmbup:...if you already have a teebird, but created a thread about needing something more overstable, well..theres your answer lol. a brand new teebird or EX will be good initially but EVERY disc breaks in. thats where cost of replacement comes in to play as well.

oh and yea PLH def makes a difference btw

Champ Teebird will be a good bit more stable than the echo star.

Check out the eagle, I used mine for drives needing a little more fade but still straight.
