not really and Innova needs to make a Eagle 3 top so casual players are having to flat top a Premium Eagle just to have a version they can use forehand. I say people need to look at other brands in the Innova line up to see if they make a more flat top or a 3 top Eagle like disc.

Hopefully we'll see some flat topped Barsby Eagles this year. There's the Ultiworld interview with him on the facepage talking expressly about a flat Eagle.

So like an Eagle 3 that is his signature mold in a specific plastic? Cool, about time Innova makes the flat top Eagle.

I agree to both of these 100% I bet if not Innova/Dave making the Eagle 3 then Innova/Dave allowing Infinite Discs to make a mold that is a 3 top Eagle.
I actually found one 8+/10 for $4 at a PIAS, with patent numbers. Was expecting it to be beef but it's nicely workable OS, perfect complement to my FD. Definitely flat, now I just need to find a couple more. Less stable than my newish embossed star.
I'm all ears for suggestions for something similar to a flat eagle from other brands. I've tested a lot of fairway molds and haven't found anything with a flight like the eagle

So I was thinking- do the Teebird and Eagle actually have the same bottom rim? It sure looks pretty similar to me. If so, and they did the "3 top" treatment to an Eagle, wouldn't that just make it a Teebird3? Maybe that's why they've never done it...
Nice but ouch on the price. The question now is how bad do I want them?

This is the same argument that I've been making. Back when they started with the 3 top discs, they made the top mold for the Roc3, then reused the same piece for the Mako3 and Shark3. I just assumed that they'd do the same for fairway drivers. That would mean if they slapped the fairway 3 top on an Eagle wing, you'd just get a Teebird3. Innova would have to make a special Eagle3 top.
Jeeze, $18.95 is a perfectly reasonable price for a color glow fundraiser disc.
I'm emailing them to ask about the profile. I'll let you know when I get an answer :hfive:

Please do. If you haven't already sent it off, ask about firmness. I've bought a few color glow Eagles lately, and although they are flattish, they are super firm and SUPER overstable.
Dang,literally just sent it or else I would've asked. Has your experience with eagles been firm=more stable?
