[Innova] DESTROYER destroyers unite!!

I just got a bottom stamped destroyer thinking it would be the very overstable run but I got a Vulcan-topped destroyer instead...

Yep, I will later, I'm pretty sure it's a Vulcan top but I'm no expert.

Hmmm, the picture doesn't look like a Vulcan top to me, more like one of the recent David Wiggins runs. They do have a slight angle change between the wing and the flight plate, but nothing like the older Vulcan-topped runs. I guess it would be easier to know for sure if you took a picture of it sitting on a flat surface. Have you thrown it yet? How overstable is it?

It doesn't look like a destrulcan. The middle does seem a bit popped up which might lead you to think the sides are flatter, but if you just concentrate on the sides, its not as exaggerated as an actual Vulcan

Just throw it. I bet with how the middle is a bit popped up (as most bottom stamped ones are), it would be overstable to your liking.

So I know someone is going to kill me but I read the last 20 pages and well... Just can't seem to want to read that much.

So could someone give me a run down of why it seems like people like the flatter destroyers best?

And which destroyers have more glide when it comes to star destroyers? I think I read one person saying flatter runs do but it seems for every other disc domier discs have more glide...

I think most Destroyer aficionados covet the runs with pop-tops, which tend to be overstable and still manage to have a ton of glide.

In my experience the flatter Destroyers are faster and have less glide.

So the domey ones start off more over stable and they break in to have max glide?

Yes the domey runs of DS's have more stability but I've seen plenty of Destrulcan-ish Destroyers that have a **** ton of glide, just a bit less stability. The dome doesn't seem to affect the stability as much as the PLH.

Essentially, I guess. Takes quite a bit to break them in though.

I think for true 'max glide' you'd want to look at a Pro Destroyer.

Ok, So I love destroyers(Whoa, no-one saw that coming). First let me list my 3 that are in my bag
-Pro for tailwinds(I don't throw rollers, or at least at this point.)
-AJ Max weight for slight s line, or slight headwinds
-Pop Top for those cannon shots.
Now my question is this. Last week I bought a champion destroyer(never threw one til then.) It had the autobot/robot circle stamp(Hope that's what it's called.) I was able to throw it twice, both times it turned over like a monarch, and the second throw it went 400 ft down a ravine into the depths of hell. Is this normal for those type of destroyers?
