I use and love the River, Fuse, and Pure. I also own a Havoc and Halo, but don't throw them cause they're out of my league. (in both cases found discs on the course with no number)

What do you consider the "must have" discs from the Lat64 line up? I'm considering getting some more.

Keep in mind I'm pretty new and currently not throwing anything faster than a Volt/Valkyrie/Roadrunner.

I don't know what I would do without my River and Pure. I think when I got my pure and learned how to throw it off the tee / approach I cut 3-4 strokes off my game. I just picked up a Fury and I pretty much love it. Brand new its EXACTLY like my GL river just longer.

Over time I've owned (and bagged):

Bolt
Riot
Flow
Halo
Saint
River
Diamond
Pain
Fuse
XXX
&
Pearl

The only one left in my bag at this point is the XXX and it's not coming out anytime soon. I'm kinda over the Lat64 Kool-Aid. :\

I haven't really done much with a xXx yet...but I am starting to say the Trident is a must have, at least for me. Its my get out of jail disc. The Mace is starting to be a go to disc as well. I could probably play all of my regular courses with your 3, River Fuse and Pure and simply add an Opto Trident, GL or ZL hard Mace, a GL Saint or GL Fury (jury still out on that one but leaning to Fury at the moment) and a RGL Diamond and be perfectly happy and have all my shots covered.....I think.

Trident and Mercy. Trident is probably the best utility disc made. And the Mercy is the best stable putter made IMO. I don't know what I would without either of these in my bag.

I've thrown a good portion of Latitude's line up. Their drivers just don't jive with me (to finicky), however, I really enjoy their overstable discs for beef + glide. Tridents and Villains are my windy day go-to discs.

I do putt and approach with the Pure. Great disc, you should try one. However, as much as the disc works for me, feel there are discs made by other companies that are very similar.

I currently don't have one... cause I lost it... but I WILL have one back in my bag tomorrow :) Opto River. Had an opto Pure for a while but it got replaced by the Neutron Ion. Neutron plastic feels better IMO.

This is an opinion question but here's what I feel the true essentials are:

Trident (yes it lives up to the hype that we all put on it).
Striker
Villain (most overstable yet forward penetrating disc on the market right now, IMO)
Spike (I prefer them to the Pure)
Pure (for those who like a slower putter)
XXX (better Firebird, let the flaming ensue).

I do like the Havoc but I have discs that do that already. I love the Flow but my Wraith fits the bill of that disc (when it becomes too beat, I'll cycle a Flow back in). The Fuse is great but I throw Comets so no need for it. Really, with just those molds, you could cover everything you need in a line up (the ones listed singularly and in this paragraph)

I'm slowly learning about this too and I agree with Rivers. If you want a stellar mid lineup can't beat Fuse,Core, Pain.
