What would you throw???

I think I could get my Pure out there with some regularity. It could be a Banshee hole for me too though (I see a skip op)

Don't listen to some people on here that throw their putters on every hole under 400'. Throw what gets you to the basket in the least amount of throws. I would throw a tee bird, btw.

I agree that you should throw what gets you to the basket in the least amount of throws (that's the point if dg) but your putter remark is off. Lets say there's a wide open 250' hole & the person throwing's max d with their putter is 250' also. I'd say they should throw a Mid because it's difficult to reach your max d every time & you have a greater chance to park it with a Mid. Lets say on the same 250' hole someone else can throw their putter 275-300' max d they should be throwing a putter on that hole or they're limiting themselves. Putters help show form flaws, skip less than drivers (in general) & also allows the thrower to put more power into the disc without changing they're run-up & form like they would have to do with a driver on a shorter hole. Throwing the slowest/lowest category of disc you can is always in your best interest assuming you can throw the disc the distance of the hole with a fair amount of consistency. It's really based on every individuals game & what distance they can consistently get each category of disc up to. So saying you shouldn't be throwing a putter on the hole in the OP is ignorant, it's depends on the throwers consistent putter distance.

Agreed, majority of people on the internet can throw a putter 350 but in real life they would be lucky to hit 250, or maybe one time they threw their putter down hill 350. Can I actually throw a putter 350 - Yes, but why in the heck would I go full power on a 350' shot when I can throw a mid at it.

At what distance do you stop throwing Putters & start throwing Mids?

Couldnt tell ya, I really dont care how far the hole says it is. I look at the shot, at the line I need to hit and the wind, and choose from there. But probably around the 250' mark would be a safe bet.

Dead on. When you carry rocs and wizards the shots are so seamless for me that you can just make a gut call regardless of distance. Typically I'll opt to go roc bc of the glide on lower lines.

The hole in question would 100% be a roc shot. Straight with left fade roc or slight hyzer flip with a seasoned roc. EASY!
