"What the h*ll was that?" When it doesn't go where I thought it would.

I tend to talk to my discs more when they aren't in the air. I like to remind them that there are plenty of other versions of them that I could be using. For example, if my Jolly Launcher Gazelle isn't cooperating, I remind it about the stack of KC Pro ones sitting at home waiting to take its place. Or if my Buzzz ever stopped cooperating (yeah, right), I'd remind it that every company except Innova has a Buzzz clone that I can use, including the Warship that isn't seeing any use... Or that I have seven other Buzzzes that I'd be happy to throw. You just need to remind the disc that you're in control.

I stopped using the really bad profanity after I cursed out the disc, basket, my hand, my bag, then threw my bag down the fairway. Calmed down and saw the family of five staring at me in horror. They were sitting on a blanket having a picnic. Now, I might throw my hat down but I try to remember I'm in public.

When a disc starts to turn over, and I want it to come back, I yell, "Get New, Get new!"


When someone makes an awesome shot off the tee, and it hits something and just dies out, I always say, "Well, that was all sizzle and no steak".


When a tree branch or bush seems to just stop a disc dead in its tracks, we tend to holler, "Not in my house!".
