2015 Memorial Championship- NT

So hammer, the whole convo came up because the pros shot ten under my personal best at fountain, but no better than my average at Vista. What are your scores like at fountain? Am I just really bad at fountain or are the pros just really good there?

It's been awhile since I've played there, but I think I used to be pretty consistently around 50. My best is a 44.

I just assumed the par 4 holes at Vista were automatic threes for pros. My best round at memorial layout fountain is a 51 where I usually shoot in the high 40s at memorial Vista. I guess it just shows that pro skills shine more at fountain.

7, 10, 11, and 14 are pretty easy.

6 and 15 are more tricky.

Well I live just a few miles from the course, and play there regularly. So I am putting the challenge out there for realsies.

Are you going to be around tomorrow for the finals?

Has buffalo ridge ever been in discussions for the memorial? I would love to see the pros tackle a safari layout up there

I am going to try. I'll say hi if I see you again. I'm also going to try to get out to Fiesta today.

Not that I am aware of. One of the biggest gripes about The Memorial is that it is just a bunch of hyzers. Buffalo Ridge would just make that situation worse.

Boy, McFly is getting some amazing coverage with these next day vids. Watching these pros park holes that give me the nervous sweats just watching on video is a truly humbling experience.

I also like the music used in the round 2 video. Starts off like a muzak version of the mauin riff from "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" then finishes like a cut in a 90s Nickelodeon live-action show. I need to beef up my free use music library for Hucking Aces!

You have a link? I went to his YT page but cant find the 2015. Searching YT is turning up zilch as well.

That course would need some serious maintenance...and nobody wants their discs chunked up that bad, lol.

Yeah hope so! Heading to Fountain for my final round today but will probably roll over to Fiesta when I'm done to check the Open cards out.

Good luck out there. Try to keep your plastic dry.

At an NT in Arizona, they simply do NOT need to have an area to tee beside the tees. This opens up routes that were not intended by the course designer. Sorry, it's ARIZONA, it's not like it is going to be a slick teepad. Watch how many times they tee from them and gain an advantage over the line from the actual teepad.

Actually, the tee pads are notoriously slick at both Fountain Hills and Vista. I've fallen on my ass many times.
