solo round scores?

how many people keep score when you're play a round by yourself? and do you play cali when by yourself?

I keep score of every round i play solo or group and put it into the score board (except for double, tournys, ace race). I started doing this in march and have enough data now to be able to look at a course and see what holes I need to rethink my risk reward and what holes i can birdie everytime. as tempting as Cali is it would ruin the reason i keep score, so as much as I hate recording that score of +13 on a course i average +3 in the long run it is really helpful

not sure what cali is, but i've recorded nearly all of my solo rounds in my scorebook.

Again, what is Cali? Anyway, I play a vast majority of times solo and rarely keep score. I suppose it would be a more analytical way to organize data to see exactly how I improve.

Yes, I keep score.
As stated by jroll, this is the quickest way to see what holes at a particular course that I need to work on.

Cali is where you get 1 extra throw per hole. For example if you don't like your drive you can take a second. But if you do this you cannot take a second shot for an up or putt.

I also keep score for solo rounds. Last night I managed to prevent myself from cheating on a chain out for par from 6-8 feet or so. It was the most tempted I've ever been to cheat on a solo score, as it was the relatively easy hole 2, and I had just parred hole 1, which happens veeeeeery infrequently.

Cali is throwing a mulligan throw on each hole. It is easy to throw 2 or 3 drives on each hole. That is fine for scoring as long as you take your first throw. Unfortunately, I only throw a 2nd shot if the first one was bad, with a few expectations on certain holes.

I play mostly by myself, and keep score, counting every hole as as Par 3, no exceptions. Some courses it's easy to come in at zero, while others I'm at +15 or more. It's just easy this way.

I play the same way with my buddy.

Cali? A muligan every hole? No thanks.

I keep score for every round in my head. I usually throw 2-3 drives and putt twice but i always keep track of my first throws.

I always try and keep my score when I am playing a round. That doesn't mean I don't take second drives and putts, but I do always count the first one in my score keeping.

When I play a solo round it's usually so I can practice. I throw 2 or 3 drives then take the worst lie. This is a big help during league or when I play a more competitve round. If I chunk a drive, chances are I have been there before and can figure out how to get a par.

I keep score in my head mostly. Occasionally I'll give myself a mulligan per 9 holes, I usually just use them for f'ed up gimme putts.

Speaking of mulligans I do take 2 shots off of hole #1 and take the better. Though as long as my first is decent I normally try a new disc or a different type of route for my second shot.

When I play by myself I always keep score and never take mulligans. I might throw a second drive, but I always play from where the first one landed.

I definitely keep score when I play solo. I actually write what I shoot down on a scorebook and then move on to the next hole. I write down the score and forget about it.
