I haven't had the chance to play them yet, but the mach x looks like it's going to be my favorite. I like how they stay wide all the way down below the level of the rim.

I'm partial to Innova baskets because they are the most common. I'm prone to missing left, not high, so the chastity belt never really bothered me. I also really like the Disc Nation Liberty baskets (now made by Salient; haven't thrown on the Salient versions yet) because they seem to catch my hyzer putt well and they make a nice sound. Only played one course with full Liberties, though.

One type that I hated at first but have come to enjoy are Disc-In Baskets. Paul Rothley is the man behind those so they are prevalent here in the mountain courses. They didn't catch for me that well when I first played them, but that's my putt, not the baskets. They are actually really solid baskets, with a cool angled belt design up top.

Really though, my favorite baskets are any kind that have seen years of use. I may be in the minority, but I think those worn out chains just catch a little better.

The Chastity belt "DOINK" sound is super annoying. However, baskets without the belt will take that same putt on a crazy ride. The belt stops high putt roll-aways. I'll take that if it means I have to hear the rejected noise.

The Gateway Titans are very nice.
Titans are my fave - beefy as hell and catch really well, but as a travelling course bagger, I have to say no target is as easy to spot in the shady woods as Innova's DisCatchers... nothing else says "Yo, here I am!" like that bright, yellow chastity belt. Love to see those when I'm playing a new course.

I supposed orange powdercoated DGA's are my 2nd fave.

I'm not totally sure, but I think most of the courses on my played list were either Innova or DGA. I voted DGA because of the Mach V baskets, they're pretty dope. I'd say it's almost a toss up between them and the DisCatcher though. My current local course sports Mach III baskets, they're not so dope.

I've got two Liberties at home (out of 5 baskets). I would have bought more but they were unavailable for a while. Don't know about the Salient version yet, can't find them in stock anywhere.

DISCatchers for this reason.

Most of the courses I play have Mach 3's, so visually, those are the ones I like the best. We have some with Chainstar, and those are good, too. I'm not a fan of Discatcher baskets at all. I have more chain outs on those than anything else. The top band is distracting to me, too, but that's just back to the visual aspect of what I learned to play on.

They have them up on the Salient site but they are more expensive than the original Liberites. Of course, you can just make a trip to Colorado Springs this summer, we'll have a full course with the new Liberties up.

i get extra delighted when i pull up to a new course and see rusty chain innova baskets. nothing catches better and as consistently.
if you have an issue with the top band on innova baskets you probably have a concentration issue. also, would much rather donk off that and fall next to the basket than ramp off a DGA/Disraft basket and hope for the best.

My local course has new Innova discatchers with the big yellow belt up top. I like these baskets just as much as the MachX baskets at Pier Park. If I'm missing putts it's not the baskets fault.

I said discatcher (especially newer ones) as they are easy o spot and suit my type of play. I tried DGA and I putt just as badly into them!

I just got an Arroyo Vortex and wow! It swallows putts and is really well made and sturdy. Mine is powder coated metallic blue.

I really like Discraft Chainstars.
Pretty sure Chainstars and DGA Mach V's are the same. Wasn't there some sort of cooperative agreement where Discraft would manufacture discs for DGA, and DGA would make baskets for Discraft?

Just threw on 18 holes of Discraft baskets, they were really nice. They seemed different than Mach 5s, much easier penetration with my lightweight baby discs

My buddies and I like the DGA Mach 3. We aim for the gap between the center and outer chains to see who can get the most to cut through.
