I've heard good feedback online about this one, more so than the Sting which made it, so I think it's going to be released. After all, only the Nebula never found its way to a normal production run.

Anyone still throwing their ace race Sol? I haven't gotten my hands on one yet but I'm actually more excited about it than the Luna or Kong.

No. Too glidey. What I suppose I could try to do with it would be an XD replacement for touch US approach shots. Maybe. I haven't tested that out, but it's worth a try.

I can use a #2 Upshot Lighting's disc for Putting if I need to as I use the mold for uphill/downhill putting in Prostyle and I have felt a Colt very similar to the XD and I feel I could use that. I use a Magnet Jawbreaker and old stiff Pro D for main putters right now and those have floaty glide to them so I can use a more glide putter.

i use it some if you want an under stable comlement to the ringer here you go. My 15 year old son loves his. He doesn't throw FH so this gets use in his bag.

It is, as someone else said, it makes a really good compliment to the Ringer GT. I actually really like it as a forehand disc for shaped lines.

At the time, probably the Zeppelin. But I vaguely remember it being brought into production as some DGA disc. So does that count? If not then probably the Nebula.

Would this disc overlap bangers + comets? I'm always skeptical of speed 4 "putters". The zone is a bit of a tweener. Just wondering if this is too similar to the comets flight.

I would vote no, the Sol (AR18) was pretty flippy when thrown with halfway decent power. Understable mid/putter that feels like a small diameter disc, where as a Comet feels large to me. Just my $.02.
