[Innova] Sexton FB's

Innova factory store drops them on the site around 5pm pacific time. When they go live there are a lot available. I'd start checking around 4:30 and be logged in already. I was able to easily snag a couple-few last week. Theyve been putting a ton up each time.

So nothing happened at 2pm est/5pm pst. No new discs were on the site. Is it 5pm est, or 5pm pst?

Nice article about them on ultiworld and what Nate was looking for in the disc.

Personally I really like the color glow champ plastic, it glows great and feels better than typical newer, champion plastic.

Color glow reminds me a lot of opaque champ from 10 years ago, before Jolly Launcher came along. Funny how JL was all the rage, now I bet you could get a pretty penny for boring old stock runs of opaque champ that sat collecting dust not long ago.

That would be 5 pm pst/8 pm est

I bought one of the gummier 5 year Enemies from OTB a month or two ago. Thing is freaking amazing feeling in the hand. Flatter, higher PLH, gummier Sexybird.

Does anybody know if the 2021 run of Sexton Firebirds are gummy and chalky like last year's?

Oh ok, so what other FB's should I be looking at that are great throwing discs that can be worked? I have a luster champ that is a SUPER meat hook that I just can't throw for much distance. At my distance right now, it's just a utility disc, haha.

But when I threw my buddies Sexton FB, it was a lot easier to get distance on. It still fades left in a very noticeable manner, but it was definitely a better disc than my meat hook.

I'd check out a Felon in lucid or fuzion for something stock and easily replaceable in this slot. I also have a luster FB and it's a friggin' brick. Which is good, sometimes. But I also have a kinda domey F2 champ FB that I can lay flat and will hold straight for a bit before it dumps. If I had to replace it without being able to hand pick another FB, I'd probably just grab a felon. As much as I 'm personally not really a fan of trilogy plastic, I do enjoy the feel and flight of the felon. The way the market is now, personally, I'm doing my best to keep my bag as stock and replaceable as possible (cries in Discmania P3x).

Around here, lots of CG firebirds from tournaments end up in used bins. Maybe not quite a sexybird but the CG plastic seems to make them a bit more mellow than regular champ.

Picked up a Sexton FB from local shop, threw it a few times before it started raining, a slight bit mellower than my 168g GStar FB, really liked it plus it looks cooler

I don't know why everyone totally overlooks the FL's... this sexton glow thing is ridiculous.

The FL is OOP isn't it?

Go throw a Fireball and pretend it's a Firebird. Pretend it's a glorious Nate Sexton color glow tour series Firebird. Rolls off the tongue even :D

by far the best way to get any tour series innova disc is to follow their twitter account and get notifications for new posts. you can also go back and see the times they restocked most recently - in the 7:37-7:50 pm est range.

I picked up a few of this years but haven't thrown them yet. I was hoping to read how they fly before trying them out myself but maybe I'll just have to be the guinea pig and compare to my throwers, a 16 and 17 usdgc. color glow is a sweet plastic though! most of my bag is star or color glow at this point

Here's a tip. Just buy a Star Firebird. Pretty much the same flight as a Sexybird.

Here's a tip. color glow plastic is pretty awesome. not, for me personally, $25 or $30 a disc awesome. but $18-20 for sure
