Just received my stack of F2 Rocs, and this is the best dx plastic I've ever felt from Innova. They seem to have moved away from the soft, waxy dx. These things are nice and stiff but still super grippy (goes and adds 10 more to the cart)

I know when the first DX Thunderbirds were released I bought a small stack because of the feel of the new DX plastic.

Definitely no drum/heartbeat, I'm pushing down pretty hard in the top and just getting a bit of give. Obviously not KC pro stiff but really perfect for me. Few profile pics.

No clue - this is my 3rd time ordering from the factory store, and I haven't been able to figure out why any of the 30 or so discs I received were F2. Also, I had this box of Rocs on my front porch 2 days after I ordered. Really impressed with my experience with F2's thus far

Maybe some specks in the plastic? I have some F2 Rocs and that's all I could figure out.

I've tried searching but couldn't find the answer I needed. Can anyone clue me in on the time periods of the lettering on the roc? My buddy has a tourney stamp that says kc-r, I hadn't seen that before. Was there a specific time when they did that or just a random thing?

Some of mine are KC-R, and some of mine are KCR. They're all excellent.

Haha I have no idea. I last pre embossed ones I remember being marked R. Solid possibility I'm misremembering though. It just looked weird to my eye.

Yeah, the DX Rocs are marked R and the KC Pro Rocs are marked KCR. So he just has a KC Pro Roc instead of a DX Roc.

So what qualifies as a good dx or kc roc? I know some runs aren't well received. I'm talking about the newer 12x kc and newer dx (not wiling to track down and pay for 11x). Do some prefer domy vs flat?

Good DX and KC rocs are usually on the flatter side with a little bit of dome and the plastic will be chalky rather than waxy.

Found this in the used bin at PIAG. Initially I thought it was a Roc 3, but it's definitely penned as a Roc and feels like a Roc. Didn't even realize champion glow Rocs existed, pretty stoked to find this. Are any of you Roc fanatics bagging a champion glow Roc?

Good snag. I have champ glow Roc3's but no Rocs. Might have to keep an eye out for one.
