Critters on the course you ran into...

Well, this turtle a little bigger than the one I posted a few days ago. Munden Point Virginia Beach #8 within C1 of the North Landing River and that's where the turtle was heading too. Wanted nothing to do with me, maybe after reaching the water will bring back one of the three dozen discs I've launched into the river.

Have not seen any snakes this year yet, normally the first one by May, and about a 1/2 dozen for the year. Nor am I looking for any.

Saw turtles, snakes, deer, cardinals and a crazed bat on #10 that kept circling the basket while it was still daylight.

Normally I've seen my first snake of the year by the month of May, it took until last week. A rat snake Waller Mill #6 Williamsburg, Va. The last time I saw a rat snake on this course a few years ago walking straight up hill from #14 short basket to short tee #15, looked to my left a few feet over and it was racing me up the hill right past me. Startled me at first.

Can't help but be curious as to how you determined the bat was crazed.

Live in FL. Don't see gators too often, but the other day we saw about a 5 footer in a canal right next to #5 tee pad, and another 4-5 foot one across the pond from #7 tee pad. Was neat - know they are around, but they don't show themselves as much as you might think. Guy I play with says he has seen water moccasins a couple times in swampy area with tall grass and bushes next to hole #1…. We don't hunt lost discs in there much any more - just wave goodbye.

Only live turtle I seen over the weekend. Seen a painted and snapper turtle shell.

My picture isn't tiny OR sideways. I'm liking this new format.

This little one, was parked Hole 12 long pin New Quarter Park Williamsburg Virginia. my Servo was 10 feet to the right, may of come a little too close. Literally putted right over the turtle.
