For Innova discs, wich plastic do you like the best. I like the Champion plastic the best.

Pro plastic. Fast, tons of glide, and truest to the original mold without being destroyed from hitting 1 tree (see dx). They will go the farthest between pro/champ/star

i think you need to add a few dozen more types of plastic
glow champ
xg champ
candy champ
champystar
eco star
jk pro
kc pro
kc pro 11x
kc pro 12x
special blend roc
whatever the heck a dragon is made of??
glo dx
proline
gummy champ old style
11x champ
CE 4 or 5 different runs out there for some discs
Starlite
Blueberry
Nightshift
r pro
the new pro that the rhynos and pigs are
the list could go on forever

me personally love a disc in candy only disc i'll fondle

Yeah but I am just talking about the basic molds

Hands down ESP(by discraft....sorry Innova), but champion is good too...great stability and durability

Star is good if you don't mind having several of the same discs....assuming some are more beat in than others:thmbup:

I voted Champion, however, lately I've purchased some Star plastic that did not feel "slippery".

Voted for Champion, but...

Certain discs are better in other plastics. I probably wouldn't carry a Champion Dart even if they made em.

If I could vote for two I would say Champ and Star are equally great plastics.

All of them, for different discs

Eagles, Teebirds, Gazelles: DX
Rocs: KC Pro for stable, DX for beating into glidy/turnover discs
OLF, Destroyer, Wraith: Star (Sirius OLF might as well be Star)
Firebird: Champion

I also like the 12X Champion Eagle, better than the Star. And I do like to have a Pro version of distance drivers, as it beats in a bit faster, making for great hyzer flip and turnover drives, plus it's grippier in wet/cold weather.

But if I really had to pick just one, it would be DX, because I throw more Rocs, Eagles, Gazelles, and Teebirds more than anything else. Plus, DX grip seems most consistent, regardless of weather conditions. Champ and Star seem too slippery when it's cold.

I prefer Champ over Star, but just slightly.

IMO, DX and Champ are too soft and don't hold up to any damage, and lose flight characteristics too fast

I have been digging Star plastic lately.
It seems better than Champ for glide and stability.
I have a Nancy Drew noodle arm (about 275' accurately) and Star plastics seem to behave better for me. I can control a Star Teebird, but have had no luck with a Champ Teebird).
I also like Pro plastics, when i can find them.

DX plastics beat in too fast and change flight characteristics too quickly for me.

I always thought the R in R-Pro stood for Rhyno. I could be wrong. but the Pro the Rhynos and JK Aviars has always been rubbery, very different from "driver pro". KC Pro just feels like really dense DX. but yes to really get an accurate poll you need to list about 25 different options for Innova plastic. DC is not so immune either. they have ESP, FLX, Elite Z, Elite X, Elite Pro, Tourney Pro, Competition, and Pro-D. there may be some I've left out.

I like base plastic for everything but overstable drivers, I like the added glide and grip of dx and pro, and like having new and seasoned discs to cover different shots rather than carrying different molds. I do have a couple star and champ discs in my bag, but the majority of it is dx with a few pro.
