I parked the first two holes of a local course today with my Nuke.
Something I have never done previously in 6 months of playing this course regularily.

When I think of a shot being parked, I usually mean something that you really couldnt miss when its time to putt, which is inside a ten foot circle for me.

Parked probably means different things to different people, I'm sure if you put a 600' drive within the 10 meter circle, you would probably refer to this as being parked, even if you missed the putt.

So what distance from the pin would you mean, if you said you "parked" a hole ?
Nuzzling the pole ? 10 feet ? Inside the circle ?

Nuke action, nice. I just put mine back in the bag and it helped me to my first first place. I would say anything close to ten feet of the basket, unless it is a really long hole. Then the longest shot is "parked" ;)

I think if you can pick it up and drop it in the basket without tossing it you are truly parked. Although I've congratulated friends for "parking" a shot as far as 20' out.

I say parked varies on your comfortable putting range. Parked is when you say 'I GOT DIZ FA SHO' :D

Depends on your "pffffft....I've got this" range. 20 feet for me maybe??? "Depends on you're putting ability" --- exactly.

id say parked is when you have no doubt in your mind that youre going to make the putt, and valet parked is when you are so close you can just drop it in

I played in 26 mph wind today and parked for me today was not what it normally is. There were no gimmes.

This! It was BRUTAL today. We played a kiddie course at a middle school and my 2 discs of choice were a banshee and a gator...it was NASTY!!

Funny thing was I got 2 birdies today thanks to the wind. A 40' turned and blew right into the basket and another one about as far that I tried to ground and it blew right in.

It was fun but parked became a literal drop in. Normally I would say 15' or so.

inside of 10' for sure

though for me, i'd say 5', as i've screwed up 10' putts before. :wall:
