Grip EQ large bag

I sent the bag out on 11/29 and it was back at my house on 12/7, so roughly a week. I do have extra bags so it didn't matter as much to me.

Thanks for letting me know . I might wait and see if it gets any worse before I send it in because right now it's not that bad.

FWIW, when I initially filed the claim they said they will take a look at the damage and attempt to repair the bag if possible. If they feel it's not worth repairing, they will replace it. I got a brand new bag in the mail so I assume they felt it wasn't worth repairing. I'm ASSUMING this may have cut down on turnaround time. They told me since this is a known problem they have developed a fix for it by replacing the velcro patch with a smaller one and patching up the putter pocket.

Had my GRIP for over a year. I've been happy with it, though I'm getting ready to try out a Prodiscus bag. The only issue I've had is one that has appeared recently. The stitching on the putter pocket has started to come undone at one corner where it joins the mouth of the pocket. I've made a warranty claim so we'll see what happens.
I have both bags, plus a Mahal. Although I've only used the Prodiscus bag a few times before going back to the Mahal. I was not impressed with the quality of the materials in the prodiscus bag. Already had one zipper fail and the rest are not very smooth in their actions. Although rubbing bar soap on them helped. I still question how long this bag (Prodiscus) will hold up? It's a bit more, but you might want to check out the Mahal. Heck, I've grown to like this bag so much. I just bought another one :)

I did this a couple months ago to my tags. They look much better this way.

I just hate the way the Mahal looks. No offense to those that like it, but it's an ugly, ugly bag.
Can't argue with that! It's pretty ugly! but it grows on you and after a few rounds. You find how practical it is as well. Every thing is out in the open and easy to get to (like the discs). What suprised me the most was that it wasn't as huge as it appears. In the future, it would be nice if they made a frame for it and some "feet" (not sure what you call them). To keep the majority of the bag off the ground.
I can't believe what a fan I've become of this bag, because I really didn't care for it at all, but the more I've used it. The more I liked it.

I went with the 70 oz camel bak bladder added an insulated hose and a tip protector to keep dirt off it and love that it fits nicely in the side pocket. But what do I put in the drink pockets now??

"But what do I put in the drink pockets now??"

What's wrong with two 32oz bottles to begin with?
I'll never understand the craze for camelbacks unless they're used to save space, or you don't have bottle pockets. Everything about it is more difficult, your bag looks comical, as will anyone drinking from it on the course.

Honestly when you are wearing the bag its hard to access the cup holders.. I am a small guy too i can only imagine someone twice the size as me trying to. Camelback would solve that problem. Also The cup holders are where my portable speakers go, it sounds a lot better then then crammed in the side pockets

Agree with silverbullet. Camelbacks make drinking water so easy because its right there. Esp when you have an insulated bladder as well. I think it looks great on djren12's bag. Plus then I can put 2 tall boys in the drink pockets

Alright, sounds like it works well for you guys.

I personally don't find the drink pockets hard to access.
The bag doesn't have loads of storage space, so I like having my side pockets for storage.
To each his own.

Posted this "mod" a few pages ago, but I've started making a lot of them to sell. But it's just a clip that attaches to one of the rainfly snaps (rainfly can still be attached over it). It was designed to be able to hang your towel on. You can take it off easily to use a towel and it just snaps right back on. I've also used it to hold bagtags and various other things. I have them available in a few different colors and you can find them in my signature.

Got my Grip in today. Went with the Blue/Grey combo. Took a silver marker to some parts and it came out better than what i thought. Big thanks to @Djren12 for the zip pulls and birdie beads. Def brings the bag together

The pouch above the discs is good. I clips towel on my belt loop so it does not bother me too much. I put an extra towel in that pouch.
