    Going the CLard route

Q5YLaJTCNhk I've been on a form hiatus for a while due to some personal issues and playing tournaments........but after throwing again and being tired of not getting the distance and control that I need, I've decided to get back at it. I went back and read through one of slowplastics threads...

    Mental game

Try to make your casual rounds competitive. Me and my friends make sure that every shot means something. We're not out there just throwing discs. Preparation is what separates good players from great players.

2017 Aussie Open DGWT Event Discussion

Also, I'm very grateful for Jamie and crew putting these videos out, I probably would have a lot of critics too. I'm not saying I'm better or know more. I just want you guys (Spin TV) to know how I feel as a fan, from an honest perspective. Just wanted to throw that out there.

    Consistency

I'm still struggling with consistency some, but what I've found that works is like Mike said. Let your body take over. Don't overthink it. Also, don't be too aggressive stay within your skill range. Play smart golf, don't throw shots you aren't comfortable with and take Pars and Bogeys when...

Possibly if the commentary was more like thoughts on what you're seeing, instead of narrating the video, it would seem less awkward. We can see what you're seeing, just offer your thoughts and insight. Also Barsby's commentary was really good and he made some jokes but Avery was there to either...

Where do you stay during tournaments?

Well where I'm from, there aren't any A-Tiers locally. I want to play more and make a push to get better so my only option is to travel. When you have slept in your car, where did you do it and was it allowed? I know Wal-Mart lots could be an option.

Where do you stay during tournaments?

I'm not made of money and it seems that the only good options are camping nearby. I've also considered sleeping in my car somewhere close by, but haven't actually done it yet.

How anal are you about your equiptment?

I wash mine the second Tuesday of each week on a biannual basis only to be interrupted by particularly fair weather rounds. Just my two cents

Slower Disc Harder Vs Faster Disc Softer

More accurate for me to "just throw" instead of trying to dial back a shot. Like throwing a Roc3 instead of a dialed back TeeBird or Thunderbird.

    Advice for getting over stage-fright?

Do you have a background in competitive sports? If yes, then think of the things you did in those situations. If not, the best way for me in any sport was a routine. Something comforting that you can fall back on anytime you get nervous or in a tense situation on the course. And just remember...
