I get to play with the world champ this weekend

Go get him Dave! Throw straight, have fun, and no low putts.

    Discraft Titanium (now with pics)

    Curious, I am.

New way to compare discs: the Flight Analyzer

Yeah, challenger is the only discraft putter on there. Keep it up, those measurements and flight paths look close to me when thrown flat and in calm conditions.

    JT's new player bag

I think adding a heavier dx eagle and leopard would be good (in the mid 160s). Keep your skarks and aviars, that would be a solid set up for starting out.

    LOOKING FOR PROPER DISC

I can tell you that if you throw a Dx Leopard or JLS with good form you can make them do this (how to achieve good form can be found in the vast knowledge stored on this site's forums). Now, into a strong headwind you may need to go with a Dx Teebird or QJLS. Turn off cap-locks, and good...

Woods Advice For A Sporadic Roc Tosser

Yeah, it helps to build up a stash of new, seasoned, and beat rocs. I like premium plastic, but dx feels great when worn in and my 3 year old dx roc is a hyzer flipping machine, still super straight. I have a few star rocs and they only stayed in the bag for a bit. To each their own.

    Drive Help

Yeah, like JR stated you need to slow your motions down. You should almost walk through the motions, reach straight back, your reaching back and bending your elbow. I don't talk about this stuff much but I will try. Also, your final plant step is pretty wide, shorten it. Walk through the...

    Push Putt Issues

Yeah, I use a straddle push putt for 10m and in, and then for longer or uphill putts I will spin putt with a more in-line stance. Using both styles to suit the situation is helpful.

Has the Teebird been left behind?

Is still being used by many players here at our local club and leagues. It is funny, with Michigan being home to Discraft, Traverse City is very Innova dominated. Almost all the top players and regulars carry solid Innova bags, a few have a mix, and not many have a complete Discraft bag...

    Plastic preference?

I prefer my putters and mid-range discs in base plastic. That way I have a some that are fresh and beat. This seems to be a pretty common practice. I also carry a DX Leo for special situations. Right now all my drivers are in premium plastic. Eagles are in Champ. Distance drivers (Surge...

    Zone Question

Pures have a similar profile and are less stable then the zone. The new ones in test material 2 are nice. So are the optos.

Innova have anything close to a comet?

I agree with Frank. However, JR the new champ stingray I have is not flippy. In fact it is stable and very buzzz like.

Woods Advice For A Sporadic Roc Tosser

I agree that throwing dx plastic into trees can be bothersome, but I have found that my rocs still maintain much of their stability. I have a dx pumpkin roc from 2009 that has hit many, many trees and it is still a bit stable and will hold a hyzer when thrown on one. One issue I have seen is...
