They only accept outright returns for unthrown discs. Exchanges due to manufacturing defects are a different story, as they already indicated. It seems to me you're making a mountain out of a mole-hill.
I use the Innova Backsavers; they're okay and have held up pretty well with over a year of use (I think), but not super comfortable. I'm really interested to see what Voodoo's straps will be like when they're released.
I carry a UV LED flashlight with me and give it a quick charge between holes. It depends on the disc, though, for how long it will hold a charge. Those Eclipse Ions are pretty impressive, although I haven't actually played a glow round with them yet. I let them sit in the sun for a couple...
Got mine last weekend from Marshall Street and they are the sexy. It was probably all mental, but I drilled more 30-50 footers yesterday than I have in months.
Right now I'm using softs during the cold season for everything. I may switch back to mediums for everything when temperatures rise again. However, it's nice how the softs just drop when they hit a tree. Because of that I may continue to use them for driving but we'll see when that time rolls...
I'd like to see a stable fairway driver, like a Teebird/TL or Eagle. I'm not sure what that would look like with the overmold, but all I know is I want to try one. :p
My glow Ions were supposed to be here yesterday but apparently got delayed at one of the stations. :-( On the bright side, I actually found the regular soft Ion I thought someone stole. Guess I should give people more credit, hehe.
Also, you should be able to message him on eBay; I've done it numerous times. Just find a disc you're interested in, click on the username, then click the "contact member" link. Easy peasy.

Sounds like the C-PD and Champ Starfire may be fairly similar. I may give them both a try.
