Kirkwood
If you don't like crowds this is the place. Even on a sunny summer Saturday.
Basically the first 15 holes or so are uphill. Just when you think you've gone as high as you can go, it just keeps going up.
The little map they give you at the store is almost useless. Not to scale at all and...
I have a Discatcher Sport that I keep in my living room in front of the fireplace. It makes a good conversation piece when I have people over. It's fun to have little indoor putting competitions.
:D
I carry a Star Stingray and love it for when I need a dead straight tunnel shot. I used to carry a beat dx for anhyzer shots but after I lost the last one I started using a beat dx Shark instead. The star will still hold a good anhyzer line if you really try, but it's just not as naturally...
If it was my 25 year old son that accomplished this it would be VERY cool. What does age have to do with it? I'm 48 and I broke par for the first time last month and I was stoked!
I like to skip my new discs down the street to rough 'em up a bit. The rougher the asphalt the better. It really helps in getting a new disc to fly the way I want it.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to start playing left handed. It will get you back on the course sooner, and having the ability to play at least a little bit left handed will defintely come in handy in future rounds.

So-So new nine
A few nice holes
Good scenery
Hole #17
See below
Not my favorite course in the area. Original nine has some good holes, but some very tight, dangerous holes as well.
Don't really like the new nine at all. Basically the new nine is in a big giant meadow with no trees and no...
When you have a brand new Discatcher Sport in you living room that you've been throwing putts into all day and you haven't even bothered to take it outside because it's so much fun to play with inside.
This sounds like the perfect new regimen for me. I just got my new Discatcher Sport today and I love it. It hasn't even been out of the house yet. I got a clear 20' shot in my living room and some creative shots from the kitchen to the living room. I just know that my shot making ability is...
I don't like your techniques at all. I have no clue what microwaving it will do, but bending it back and forth is just going to mess up it's shape.
What I do to break in a new disc quickly is just skid it down the street on the asphalt to rough up the plastic edge a little bit, just how it would...
I would highly recommend playing Ryan Ranch and CSUMB Oaks course. You can download course maps from this website: http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/montereydiscgolf/
Both courses would be very difficult to navigate with out a map, as is Delaveaga...
Not a specific disc, but I can't throw anything made of champion plastic, they just go hard left everytime. Maybe I just need more practice with them. I found a DX beast and I loved the way it flew, after I lost it, I replaced it with a champion and hated it, I don't even like the slick feel of...
I love and participate in lots of fun outdoor activities including:
surfing, windsurfing, skiing, sea kayaking, mt. biking, golf and tennis, but disc golf is my number one activity these days.
Why do I play disc golf? So I can go out and have fun with my dog. She loves it as much as I do. YOU try to take that away from me and i'll quit the game before I leave my dog at home.
And like Beereakfest says, if the dog is not in YOUR group and is on a leash how can that affect your game.
I...
I'm an Innova man since that's all that was available for years. Innova has SO many different models all made in different plastics and weights, the combinations are almost endless and I can't even fathom the idea of trying every model in every plastic and every weight, it would take years and...
