Anyone from Colorado care to explain the game of "Points"?

Heading to CO with a group next week fora few days of frolfin'.
When in Rome, etc., thinking about adding "Points" into the weekend.

Anyone care to share the "rules", such as they are?

Our league is split up between the pro and am fields and he played on the am-side, so I never got the chance lol.

I think the points game is a side bet. Everyone on the card puts in $5 and the one with the most "spitouts/rollaways/etc during the round wins.
