It really depends on what I'm looking to do on that approach shot. If it's straight or turnover shot I'll go Nova. If it a strong headwind or I need to go left (RHBH), I go Rhyno. If I need the shot to "hit & stick" I go Nova as well. I don't feel comfortable flicking most Putters unless it's a short get out of trouble shot. So on sidearm approach shots I usually go with a Mortar. I've tried Zones & Harps. They're great for forehand approach shots but I don't bag either mold.

Colt for straight, Harp for fade. As others have said, there are a million options that work beautifully. Handle a few stable putters, see which ones feel good in your hand, and throw them a bunch of times and see how they do. Adjust from there.

If it helps, you will probably try out a few before finding your favorite. I certainly did, which is why I have so many putters on my trade list.

Good luck!

Well, I suppose this is a good place to add more envy praise. The envy is the best approach, but the Nuke OS is a close second.

All seriousness, envy is great, all around, approach/short drive disc. Great feel in the hand, great HSS with some fade.

I voted Nova because it is amazing, but a soft neutron Envy gets honorable mention.

Envy when conditions are windy or if some fade is needed; Nova for all other occasions. It does exactly what I instruct it to, and just sticks to the ground.

I go d-line P3 if I need a good left finish and land soft or a short forehand, also around trees. I have a beat up old pro challenger for strait or slight right. I have an old innova gremlin I've had for a while but recently got a few new discmania versions. Like them so far.

Aviar is BASE

Clones OK. Great divergence from Aviar only for tiny hands or polecat people.

//: I heard polecat people are 12% less likely to be lactose intolerant
