Yeah it worked really well once the wind died. I have never gotten a perfect throw with my 175 flick but that 150 comes out of my hand just right

no not yet. I have the sign vinyl and dye and hotplate. just need to get some transfer tape and pick up a pan from goodwill. I think my first dye will happen by the end of the month
Shoot, I have the tape and the pan. Lets go dying! I love my 150 Surge. Does the lighter weight make a disc more stable?
start working on a few designs. I think either on sunday the 26th or the following weekend there is going to be a disc dyeing art day at my place. that day I am going to try a few different designs. if I remember i will bring some vinyl up to brighton next doubles so you can start making your stencils.
I think the lighter weight gives you more of a chance of getting the correct arm speed for the disc. my arm speed isn't fast enough for the heavier version. (I think;I could be wrong on this whole statement)
I love mine so much, I'm now on my fourth. You can really rip them farther than a normal weight when it's calm or there's a tailwind. They are really affected by wind though. I do wish that they were still making their 150 class in Z plastic (my first one) too. The three ESPs I replaced my original with (tie dye brown, yellow, and green Z) just aren't as good - pretty flexible. They're still great though.
I played around with the 150 Flick I got in my package today and love it. I'm already set on getting at least 1 more if not 2.
Don't buy any just yet. I've got a misprint order in. If I get one (as it seems is possible with all of them popping up in these packs lately), I'd be more than willing to trade/sell them to you if you're interested. I have two already and won't need a third/fourth.

I'll wait until I can go to an open field and toss these around some before making a judgment on what discs will make it into the bag.

Really? I have a completely clear striker that just stands out so well...the light reflects and its like throwing a mirror into a field.
