Our winter Down Under Doubles league lets a Cali pay double and shoot Nevada (at least I think that's what throwing 2 from each lie is called). Granted, we have a strong pro group that shows up for that league, so getting 2 extra shots isn't always an advantage unless you're on fire with the putter.

1 extra toss, if not on time, you can still play for points but not cash.

If he called, why didn't someone flip for him?

Also, doesn't matter how much you pay if your one of the top players and are gonna get two shots per lie- chances are you'd win anyways.
