I'm in the same boat with needing to throw. I'm overthinking what disc and plastic combinations to use in my bag when I can't even try them out. It may be driving me insane
I went to my local store specifically to check out Plasma yesterday, even though I knew I wouldn't buy (never tried an Ion, and I like the putters I have). Holy crap this stuff is SEXY and comes in so many different looks. They had a green swirly plastic that had very little shimmer, a metal flake electric blue, and a swirly and pearly blurple. The amazing thing was that with my eyes closed I couldn't tell which was which. I've never seen such a wide range of different looking plastic that felt so similar. I didn't buy, but it took a major effort of will not to walk out with 4 different looking discs. I cannot wait to start laying dye down on this stuff to see how it comes out!
Yeah yeah BM, we know you hate MVP. Move along, nothing to troll here.So is this the first good plastic from MVP?

Don't be dumb. Its by far the best looking though.

Then why do I throw a couple discs from them? I'm just being realistic here, I'm not a fanboy like you. If anyones opinion doesn't count, it's yours.
Proton and Neutron are slick but durable, Soft versions are floppy but grip better. Electron is really nice and grippy but terrible durability. Could Plasma be both grippy and durable?
I just call it like I see it, It's called reality my boy.
You can make lame attempts at being a condescending jackass all you want, but the fact is that you have a long track record of bashing MVP at every opportunity. Another fact is that I have been critical of MVP at times, and to be honest if I'm a "fanboy" of any brand it would be Discraft. They basically monopolize my lineup of most commonly thrown mids. My drivers are split between 3 companies, with a couple others jumping in at times, and it remains to be seen if the Atom can kick Aviars out of my bag. So tell me again who's a fanboy? Oh that's right, little trolls like you never let facts get in the way of the story you want to tell. Then why do I throw a couple discs from them? I can't say much about Proton. I only have one disc in it, as I don't really like translucent or transparent plastics. I throw my Neutron discs year round, and don't notice any issues. When it's cold, Star and ESP don't exactly grip all that well either, and I don't play in the rain, so I haven't had that issue with Neutron. Electron isn't durable? Isn't that the point of baseline plastic? Now, if your criticism had been that Electron seems to be overpriced I'd be more likely to agree, but I'm not ready to make a judgement about durability or price based on one disc that I didn't get much of a chance to throw before the short cold days of winter arrived.
I hate to tell you this pal, but how you see things is clearly NOT reality. In fact, it's usually referred to by stable people as "an opinion". You may want to seek professional help for your delusions of grandeur.
