My meager Roc collection

there was an 8x on ebay that was less than a hundred as of a couple hours ago. I was tempted, but know it'll sky rocket towards close.

Where does everyone get these beautiful things?!? I only have 1 roc: just a 12x DX. And I love it to death.

I used to sell discs back in the late 80's and early 90's, so I would literally go through hundreds of rocs, and inevitably, you pull the nicest ones for yourself. Most of my rocs come from that time frame, although when I finally gave in to throwing Rancho Rocs - I found regular DX to be a very friendly disc - so I have lots of those. Hey when you've playing as long as me, you've seen ALOT of plastic.

Got a question on Rocs (and I guess other plastic, too)...

Ken Climo is a 12 time champion, but I've only seen people drool over 8x, 9x, 10x, and 11x and mention 12x. Did Innova not make a disc for each of his championship years? I understand that the man won consistentnly for years, but I was just wondering if there are discs that commemorate earlier championships--specifically Rocs.

If so, do we know of a breakdown for which molds were made for which championships? Rocs seem to be in the mix every time, but what about Aviars, Eagles, and TeeBirds. Just curious.

Nice Rocs! I've only got 3 now A 173g KC Pro 12x, a 180g 2009 IceBowl, and a 174g Regular Rancho with my club's stamp. You guys have some serious addiction to Rocs--gotta love it!

SO I was at a storage auction a week or so ago and one of the units only had like 6 boxes in it and on top of one of those boxes was this 8x beauty. Neadless to say I bid 20 dollars on the unit and won it since no one there wanted to gamble on some boxes and knew what a 8x roc was worth. I own like 10 rocs or so and this one went straight to the top.
