I just saw this. Great idea, IMO.

Event Support Helpline: Answers for TDs
The PDGA is pleased to announce the creation of the Event Support Helpline: a new resource for PDGA Event Directors. The Event Support Helpline will connect Event Directors with members of the PDGA Event Support Team (EST), who will be able to assist with troubleshooting, event best practices, questions about the Official Rules of Disc Golf, Competition Manual and Tour Standards, as well as training on the functions of the Digital Scorecard, Tournament Manager, and Tournament Central. The Event Support Helpline is available now, see below for hours of operation and contact details.

Duffy joins the Event Support Team
In addition, the PDGA is proud to announce that Rebecca Duffy has joined the EST as a third Event Support & Training Manager. Rebecca has many years of experience with the PDGA as a player, Event Director, and Marshal. Rebecca's PDGA resume also includes directing a PDGA Major and serving on the PDGA Board of Directors during 2011-2018, including six years as Board President.

The PDGA Director of Event Support, Andrew Sweeton, remarked, "We are extremely fortunate to add someone of Rebecca's caliber to the already stellar event support staff. Rebecca's disc golf and professional experience will be put to great use in support of our Event Directors."

The EST now consists of five highly experienced staff members - Sweeton, Duffy, Todd Lion, Amber Schoch, and Mike "Sully" Sullivan - all whose primary focus is on providing direct support to PDGA Event Directors in the sanctioning, planning, and operations of their events, the use of PDGA technology platforms to manage those events, as well as increasing the professionalism of all events ranging from local PDGA Leagues to PDGA Majors.

Andrew has always been available as TD support. The real surprise here is that he's somehow managed to survive doing this by himself.

You know this is a good post. Big Dog Sweeton has always made himself available to honest, straightforward answers, to any questions. He does indeed deserve accolades, IMO.

The three of us new additions feel like we're pretty damn busy. I don't know how Andrew ever replied to all these emails when it was just him and Amber.

He went on vacation with his wife in December and told us when he returned that this was his first vacation in 10 years that he didn't spend working most of the time and worrying when he wasn't. We probably only had to bug him a mere once or twice each day to get some critical question answered.

Now if they can make it findable on the pdga site this will be great.
