Tournament questions

Ok. I have been playing disc golf for two and a half years and have become serious enough to start wanting to play in some local C-tiers. I have two questions about playing tournaments since I don't really know how this works. My first question is is there a minimum age cutoff for who can play? I am seventeen and am wondering if I would be allowed to play. Also, if I want to play C-tiers do I have to have a PDGA membership?

Q1: is is there a minimum age cutoff for who can play?
A1: No. The only age rules are: if you are under 13 you have to have a parent or guardian with you. The other age rule is for divisions you can compete in...there are some age specific divisions. Most are for older players (40 and over).

Q2: if I want to play C-tiers do I have to have a PDGA membership?
A2: No. You need to have an active membership for B-tiers and above. However, being a non-member, you will pay $10 more when you register.
