What is this disc worth?

alright avair fans need some help on this one. My friend gave it to me as my first putter when i was starting and found out it may be worth something. 167 beadless aviar. very faint ink on the inner circle around the 167. solid 7 (putter wear around the rim).

I just sold the exact same disc, it was white and had a red stamp and was marked 175g. SO new I sold it for 15 shipped on this site. So yours is worth less then that.

does yours have a patent number or what. Should be opposite the engraving you had pictured. Let us know.

I think mine is 168g, orange, and is a 7 to 7.5/10. Blue stamp still fully intact. WOuld it be worth auctioning or selling?

Also, what makes them so different in regards to flight?

I have a Phantom from the '88 Worlds never thrown, when I picked it up a few weeks ago the face cracked in 5 places. So IMO the old Phantoms aren't worth anything, but some one else might think otherwise.

I have heard that they some can be very fragile but this one is soft and kinda feels like CE plasic (I know it is not CE but when I hold it it leaves finger prints all over it) if that helps at all.

Mine is the same way. It does seem similar to the current champion plastic but of course it isn't.
I do remember the Phantoms feeling different from run to run back then, some were as you say soft others were more champion like. Yours might be OK but I would warn anyone interested in any Phantoms from back then about what happened to mine.
I've heard of that happening to others also.
