Huh, mine aren't gummy at all -- in fact, that's why I like 'em. Definitely my favorite disc of all time -- I carry two. I had a 150 Star Valk for a while and didn't like it at all -- way to slick for my liking. The Champ plastic has just the right feel, IMO.
