*lame review alert* course is simply fantastic. fun, beautiful, multi tees/pads. elevation hange. has everything.
clean, course looks like it was put there by nature.

i have no real cons. maybe lack of a water hole? if i am really searching for something, perhaps the tee pads could be bigger, but i feel that way about almost every course.

a top 10 course for me. love it!!!
if it was 20 minutes closer it would be my home course.

PARK DESCRIPTION - I read that Little Mulberry Park is over 800 acres. I didn't have time to explore much but the park is lovely with rolling hills and lots of green lawns. The DGC plays almost entirely in this delicious Georgia Pine Woods with wonderful elevation throughout and mostly underbrush free and clean rough.

VARIETY - There are 17 wooded holes along with the mostly open 930' # 10. With two concrete tee pads on each hole and two or three basket placements, combined with the always hilly terrain, I think Lil Mulberry provides plenty of variety.

ELEVATION - Just enough to titillate most players. As with many other Atlanta wooded 18's, the hilly terrain provides all these interesting opportunities crossing gullies, blind over the hill throws, difficult uphill's and much, much more.

CHALLENGE - I played a combination of both the Blues and the Whites. IMO, the Whites are a difficult recreational round. It's from the Long Blue's where I might get myself in some trouble here. I think the Blues give you a really, challenging intermediate challenge. The holes here aren't as punishing or unforgiving like those at the IDGC courses and the top advanced level courses like Harmoney Bends, Caliber or Idlewild.

EQUIPMENT - Off the charts awesome. As I gathered at the first tee with the circular seating area with a view over the park, I had to wonder, was this constructed just for the DGC or as part of the park infrastructure? there are two great tee pads at each hole. The tee signs are large and very informative. They have the same clever ring system that other Atlanta courses have. I have not seen this exact system used anywhere else in the country. There is a kiosk with a great course map, practice basket, lots of next tee signs and professionally built benches throughout.

In my travels playing over 1500, one course stands alone for amenities, cleanliness, landscaping, etc. That is Bryant Park in Minneapolis. I think I'll remember Little Mulberry as being in the very second tier after Bryant. I don't recall there being very many courses in this second grouping.

AESTHETICS - Once again, off the charts awesome. The park is so clean with great walking paths throughout which are always lurking just off the fairways but never interfering with your round.

FUN FACTOR - As a weak assed recreational player, I had a great time here, actually picking up a couple of pars from Long Blues. This course should delight all but the beginner players.

ROUTING/NAVIGATION - Easy to follow with plenty of next tee signs throughout.

ONE TRICK PONY - Having 17 wooded holes is probably not a con in my book. In fact, they were my favorite 17 holes here.

WHAT IS LACKING - Advanced level challenge.

Water in play.

Not enough bomber holes to satisfy some players.

A Top of the World Hole.

One true signature hole that you leave talking about. That one hole where the anticipation grows as you approach it. I left thinking of the course as memorable as any but not any one hole.

Some areas seem to be known for a certain type of courses. The Chicago area is well known for its preponderance of flat, nine-hole rec courses. The Charlotte area is known for its tough advanced level courses like Nevin, Hornet's Nest, Renny Gold, Winthrop and more.

After playing courses around Atlanta, I'm thinking Atlanta has a large grouping of fun, 18's that are tweeners, that is, they're more challenging than a recreational level but fall short of being called intermediate level. Courses I would include in this tweener 18 category would include; Frog Rock, Oregon Park, East Roswell, Wills Park, Suwanee Creek, Little Mulberry, Fort Yarbo, Mathews, Central Park, Rosewood- DeKalb which is at the lower rec level, Deer Lick and many others I haven't had the pleasure of playing.

Little Mulberry is certainly above these others as far as an over-all experience. Challenge wise, it sits right on the top of the list but not that far ahead. If you like, feel free to exclude it from my list of the Atlanta tweener 18's. You won't hurt my feelings.

This is a technical woods course that will challenge you on each of the holes, but not so much that its discouraging. This is the closest course to me & I've played it every week for months at a time and never been bored.

The course is always well maintained as far as the natural side, cutting grass, removing limbs, as well as the human side with cleaning trash. I've never been on the course and thought it needed some upkeep more than a random bottle picked up.

There are multiple pin placements for each hole and most of them significantly change the hole which helps to keep things interesting. There are a few that the hole will change from an easy layup/ace run, to you're lucky to get par.

Two concrete tee pads at each hole, benches, and hole maps with info, pin placement, etc lets you know what to expect of the course that day.

Most of the holes will have an easier path to par, as well as a higher risk path to get a shot at a birdie. This risk/reward scenario is one of my favorite aspects of the course and why its like a rival to me. I've shot well under par and well over, based on the risks I've taken and how good I played, which is the way I think it should be if you want a challenge.

The majority of the course is isolated from the rest of the park, so you don't have to worry about traffic & non players. Only hole 10 is open and has a real chance of interaction with other park goers

Nothing major here, just a few aspects that could be better

Since its a wooded course the variety isn't there, with only one open hole & the rest wooded. While the course makes good use of the elevation where its at, having explored the rest of the park there are a few areas with more drastic changes that would've made great holes.

Several holes have a tree or two I'd like to see fall in a storm, as they are just smack dab in the middle of where you're throwing and really cut down on your shot options.

Off of the fairway you can be in tree jail on several holes, so an errant shot or ricochet can lead to a bogey most of the times, if not worse

It can be busy at times with large groups who don't understand the concept of letting others play through. Not the courses fault, but just be aware.

The park the course is in is worth exploring or bringing the family to as well. Its almost 800 acres with 15 miles of trails, three playgrounds, pavilions, streams, lakes/ponds, waterfalls, even some history thrown in with Indian rock mounds. You could hike a different trail every day for a week and not have a duplicate route. Some of the trails are even paved, so if its been particularly wet, you can still stay out of the mud.

I had heard a lot about Little Mulberry over the years but because it's was awkwardly far from my house I hadn't taken the time to go play it.

However there was a tournament I wanted to play there so I headed up a few weeks before for a practice round. I'm glad I did, as some of the lines are different than they initially appear and certain spots are more or much less forgiving than they initially would seem.

I would advise using your the address on this course listing in your GPS as there are at least 4 park entrances but only one you can access the rather fantastic disc golf course.

As you approach the first tee is imbedded in a concrete ring with a raised stone circle around it, practice basket is off to the right but once you see that first tee it's hard not to walk straight up and start.

There are two large concrete tees on every hole, and I would say intermediate or lower players would have more fun on the shorts while longer throwing intermediate and higher would have a better time on the longer tees. There are fun lines on both and they usually have enough of a different look to change the hole a bit and keep it fresh.

Baskets are all Innova disc catchers and are in good shape. There are a lot of great baskets these days, but there isn't anything much easier to see than that yellow band through the woods. You also have wooden benches on most, but not all holes. Signs are descriptive and help you navigate the course well, and note which placement the baskets are in(appear to be two on all and three on some holes). There are also discreet next tee signs near every basket.

What makes this course great to me is that it takes the hilly Georgia pine forest like the ones I grew up playing in and carves these beautiful yet if you are precise, attainable lines through to the pin. No hole that I can think of is completely flat, there is always some sort of terrain and the use of the few open spaces like the magnificent hole 10 breaks up the tight wooded holes.

There are a few features that this course is lacking, but if you asked me to tell you what Georgia disc golf is all about this is definitely a great example of the best of the wooded style.

I don't know what to put for cons really. It's got less absolute wow factor than some courses, and there isn't a hole that you would say is abnormally beautiful or would make many peoples dream 18.

Maybe a couple odd navigation points? But the next tee signs make that pretty easy.

It's crowded, but that's only because it's really good.

Main con is I live too far away lol.

Really great hard 4 disc golf course, it's challenging and attractive and has really well designed. I really enjoyed my time there. Really looking forward to paying it again!

A model woods course that's challenging, accessible, and well-kept.

-Amenities: Quite nice. Concrete tees, DISCatchers, tee signs with map, pin position indicator, and elevation change, practice basket, benches, clear next tee paths and cues.

-Upkeep: Possibly due to the fact that it's located in a reasonably affluent suburb, Little Mulberry feels as well kept up as a ball golf course. Despite being heavily wooded, the fairways are clear and covered in a perfect sheen of thin pine straw. It seems that someone clears up fallen branches and makes sure that the position indicators are correct. The pins also rotate reasonably frequently.

-Navigation: Almost seamless. Hole (10) is slightly separated from the holes before and after, but otherwise it's always obvious where to go next.

-Beauty: Not the most gorgeous course out there, but Little Mulberry is very pleasant to play. The immaculate manicuring doesn't infringe on the beauty of the dense pine woods, complemented by mild elevation.

-Shot Shaping/Gameplay: A consummate woods challenge with one open bomb. The course intermingles short par-3s, longer 3s, and challenging two-shot par-4s with good consistency. With the exception of one tree on (7) and one tree on (17), these fairways seem very clear and fair, requiring intelligent shaping and good control of the disc's finish. There are some ace runs, but just as many holes will require two very solid shots to have the birdie putt. Elevation complements the challenge and is well used in conjunction with the turns of the fairways. Of course, hole (10) provides the variety as an almost 1000' par-5 with the basket tucked away into the woods (on the longest position).

-Multi-Tees/Pins: Two tees per hole with up to three pin positions. I would peg the difficulty from the blues as intermediate.

Several small issues keep Little Mulberry at Excellent.

-Familiarity: Many of the holes with slopes, and the par-4s, are difficult to play on your first time. Blind pins and precise landing zones are fun features on the repeat play-through, but the first time could be very frustrating.

-Two Trees: To address the most common complaint, in my opinion there are two holes that are slightly unfair. (7) has a tree not visible from the tee that makes the RHBH hyzer route very difficult. (17) needs one large tree removed to make the left route of the fairway more believable. Neither of these are terminal flaws, but it is a little sad to have no good birdie opportunity.

-Mono-Thematic: Little Mulberry is basically the same throughout. There is excellent variety within that terrain style, but it does preclude the best kind of variety. It also lacks any particularly stunning holes, though there are many, many fine ones.

-Footing: There are several holes with substantial hills and lots of tree roots (plus the pine straw) that could make navigation difficult if you don't have sure balance.

Little Mulberry is one of my favorite courses anywhere. It's fun, challenging, and clean, and the variety and pin changes keeps it fresh. It may not be stunning enough to be a major regional destination, but it's a key asset to Atlanta that's worth a visit from anyone passing through.

NOTE: The primary reason for this review stems from having played the WHITE tees for the first time in some 50 rounds at the course.

- Great amenities both on and off the course, with extras helping the visiting or occasional golfer (e.g., a large map at the start to ease navigation; basket locations indicated on each hole's tee sign).
- Hard to lose a disc, with underbrush substantially cleared away.
- Excellent challenge, as errant or (too many) low-percentage throws can really dampen your score. Really makes you play the course one shot at a time.
- Rarely (if ever) have to back-track to the Blue tees to get yardage, pin locations, etc. - you're already walking past the Blues to get to the Whites.
- Plenty of Ace runs, with 13 holes of less than 300 feet (and 10 less than 250 feet), but still plenty of variety with both left and right turning fairways, elevation changes, and some fast greens to mix things up.
- For those not getting any tree love, you won't always be "in jail"; there's plenty of ditch work to be had too (2, 12, and 15 come to mind).
- Shot options on several holes (2, 5, 6, and 17) differ significantly from the Blue tees to the White tees, making for some nice variety,

Very little to add here that hasn't been said before. Just pack-it-in-AND-out on your trash, hope 10's fairway is clear of small children and dogs, and that larger groups have enough etiquette to let smaller groups play through. Look for ways to not hit trees when possible.

What really stood out to me the most was how accessible LMP's White layout is for the developing player. Yes, it's not for beginners, but for less-experienced or younger players learning the game, it really provides growth opportunities. I recall playing ERP a few months into my DG career and almost quit the game; only one set of non-dirt pads, missing signs, no basket locations, long, long, and longer... and all those trees. AT LRG, the trees challenge the developing player, but don't overwhelm him or her. Hats off to Ryan and Ryan at Planet Earth Designs for designing a course that caters to both the accomplished player and the one trying to become one.

Last thought - I'm not really old school, but LMP from the Whites is one set-up that really lends itself to an enjoyable "one disc" round (e.g., Buzzz; Roc). Give it a try sometime.

Park is very nice. Opening tee is up some stairs with a large concrete patio, felt very professional. Tees are very large with brooms on most if not all the holes. Tee signs show what the current basket position is. I liked how the course had a ton of cedar trees but barely any underbrush. It looked really well done. I thought, if Augusta National was a disc golf course this is what I would expect. A lot of holes had multiple lines which I thought was a great design. I played the blue tees and scored well with 7 birdies and 2 bogeys. I'm a 900 rated player and found the course to offer a ton of birdie chances, I actually missed two of the easier ones. The par 4s are short, better off placing drive and not trying to bite off too much. The par 5 across the field was too easy. I threw a bad drive and a mediocre 2nd and then threw a putter to 20 feet. Eagle chance for those that have 450+ power. Equal opportunities for backhand or forehand, it's not a backhand hyzer course.

None really. Besides the par 5, theres not a need for distance drivers.

Look forward to playing it again and seeing what it's like in summer.

The drive up to Little Mulberry Park is great for building anticipation. You drive through some nice hills and forest and hope that's what the course is like, and it is! LMP DGC plays through a great forest with no underbrush, so if you end up off the fairway (likely) you won't have to hunt through bushes and stand in ticks.

The elevation is just phenomenal. Nothing grueling, nothing canyon-like, but you can't ignore it. This is one of my favorite parts of a course, and playing here actually reminded me a little of Harmony Bends but shorter (and some other exceptions I'll discuss in the cons).

The tee pads are huge and grippy, the signs are detailed. There's two or three pin positions for each hole, which I usually don't care for, but this course did something amazing and marks each pin position for each hole on the tee sign! Made it great because a lot of these holes are blind from the tee. Baskets are the discatcher 28s, have some wear on them, but still do just fine.

Other than making a casual Harmony Bends comparison, I don't know how else I can say I loved this course.

There biggest cons to me were the few holes (and I really only mean three, maybe four) where the fairways were too obstructed to have a clear line. A couple holes could use just a little more clearing out.

Another thing I really wish had happened is the water being a part of the course. There's a river and a lake in the park, but the course doesn't go anywhere near them. I think that added touch, plus the above trees being cleared, would make this a much more solid 4.5, to even 5.

The finish is ok. Holes 17 and 18 were not the best holes, especially hole 17. Hole 18 is a good hole, but doesn't have any extra umph to be a good finishing hole.

I will say that overall I'd rate this course like a 4.3, maybe a 4.25. It's stronger than it's rating, in my opinion, so I rounded up to pull the average just a little bit.

I did NOT play well this round. And I still had a great time. I had one of the worst, most tree-hittingest, far-kickingest rounds of my life. But I still loved this course. Hole 9 or 10, the 900ft downhill par 5 was my favorite hole, and closest I've ever gotten to a throw-in eagle.

I already believed Atlanta was worthy disc golf destination, and this course just ups the catalog of great courses in the area. It adds to the list of Perkerson Park, Hobbs Farm, and the IDGC within a couple hours drive.

(4.059 Rating) A north Georgia wooded gem with all the fixins.
- RAW BEAUTY - I had heard great things and I confirmed the rumors. Mulberry is a sublime experience. Walking up to tee (1) and seeing the line, my mind began playing music like I had ascended to the pearly gates. One superb line after another. Hole (10) is the one open line on the course and it even looks good. My favorite lines where (4), (5) and (12), but I'm sure if I asked ten other people, no one's favorite three would match. There are so many appealing lines out here. Plus the course is extremely well groomed, perhaps the best example I've ever seen on a heavily wooded course. I even played in dreary late November and the course still looked amazing. Mulberry's beauty overall would make my top 20 out of 330 courses played as of this review.
- CHARACTER - The quality of the amenities and basics on the course would match some of best courses out there. Beautiful signage, well built appealing seating, numerous garbage cans, well-built concrete tees and DISCatcher baskets. There's a wonderful gigantic shelter with numerous picnic tables and a clean restroom facility. Lots of extra of basket placements, with at least two on every hole. There are brooms at many tees and there's a practice basket.
- NAVIGATION - Near flawless navigation. There's a prominent course map posted on the way to tee (1). Hole signage is very descriptive, accurate and helpful. Mulberry even went the extra miles and provided pin placement indicators on the signage. Thank you. Thank you. Lots of well positioned navigational markers between holes as well. I think I took only one peek at the map.
- CHALLENGING - I played the front tees, and thought it was Recreational level difficult. Yes the lines are tight, but the layout is short enough that a bunch of birdies will cancel out a bunch of bogies. The back tees amp it up a bit and probably ratchet the difficulty up to middle Intermediate level. The challenges are unfortunately one dimensional, being almost all technical with minimal power requirements. Players that bomb their way to a high player rating with cuss this course out.
- UNIQUENESS - Although mostly heavily wooded technical plays, I personally enjoyed the variety in the twists, turns, distances and elevation change. There are a couple of legit par 4s out here and a par 5 on (10). The only thing missing was the pucker-up water shot, which some will be delighted by its omission.
- SHOT SHAPING - Any player that enjoys threading the needle with drool over this course. I personally thought that every hole had at least one basket placement with a plausible line. Lots of double moving lines and big hooks. Hitting some of the more challenging lines is exhilarating.

Only preferential issues at Mulberry.
- FORGIVENESS - This course is 94.4 percent (17/18) heavily wooded. The threshold of acceptable fairway widths varies from one individual to another, and some will argue that a few of the tees to basket placement combos cross the line on fairness. I experienced only one such occurrence on (6), where the margin of error to placement (B) I thought was less than 2 feet, a 100 feet down fairway. Looking at the tee sign on (5), it looked dicey to placement (B) and even more so to (C). The trees are likely going to smacked around a bit on this course and I made several contacts. I even once said hello twice to the same tree. I personally very much enjoyed the lines, but I know people that won't.
- BEGINNER FRIENDLY - I don't think this is a good beginner's course. They will hit a tree on every shot that doesn't go into the basket.
- NO KILLER INSTINCT - I haven't used this one before so hear me out. The course has a of lot nice technical prowess to it and even some mild length through (9), perhaps (12) holes. After hole (12), the ideas seem to run out of steam a bit. The holes get shorter and shorter and difficulty is a notch lower. (18) is rather anticlimactic considering some of the earlier tee shots. When I think of some of the top courses I've played in Georgia, IDGC Jackson, Hobbs and Perkerson, (18) has generally been a strong finishing hole. I wish this course didn't let off the gas.
- TIME PLAY - This one's going to take a bit longer than usually. Players should plan on 75 minutes for a solo and 3 hours for a foursome on the back tees.

My kind of course. Other than the Advanced bomber types, most veteran players are going to be tickled by these highly appealing technical lines. Couple that great maintenance, effective navigation and top of the line amenities, it's no wonder that this course is rated above a four. I would put this course at destination level for the state of Georgia. Not quite to the blow you away level of the IDGC courses or Hobbs, but rather the tier just below. If I lived in Dacula, I'd get me some holy water and try to stake out a claim near this course.

This course is aesthetically pleasing. 2 Concrete teepads on each hole are very well done, tee signs are superb even displaying elevation changes, multiple pins and which pin is present with rings and preferred landing zones. NexT signs are present on every hole as well. The course is clean and very well respected.

This course is designed to challenge you and make you throw certain shots with accuracy. Some back to back holes even challenge you, if you are a rightie, to throw a short anny and hold a line, then the very next hole says ok great now throw a long anny and hold the line. It is the concept of the course that makes you a better and more seasoned player in the woods. A lot of people overlook the fact that this is a great test of skill, perseverance and understanding of what the designers are wanting you to throw. Most of the teeshots here are intended to be thrown with a mid range.

I am really stretching here..... the course is a great testament of your ability to throw a lot of different shots and is not boring?

All kidding aside, there are no cons here. Stop complaining about lines you think should be more open and get better at hitting the lines. Stop being frustrated that you hit a tree and realize that even when you do, the course allows you to recover and save par.

I have not always loved this course until I played it today with a fresh mind. In the past I thought several holes were stupid and did not make any sense. Today I realized that even though hole 2 is a par 4, the concept is for you to throw an accurate line off the tee with a slower disc and land in an optimal landing zone to set up your next shot. Holes 3 and 11 challenge you to do what most courses do not and wants you to throw a slow disc on a line and let it hyzer out.

Can you hit the gaps and shoot under par? Accept the challenge and you will love a rare gem in the area at LMP. Great job RH and company!

-It was quite a fight. This bloody match between me and Mulberry often had me and Mulberry wounding each other. I sent the throws after the baskets, and General Mulberry sent the trees after me and they wounded me. I about went to the medical center about playing hole 9, but decided to just jam the dagger out of my back and shoot it back on hole 10. And I didn't miss!

This place is like a battle in the game disc golf for an advanced or pro player. Fight to stay under par and make as many birdies as possible. I made nine birdies here and only shot -3. It was a bloody match but it felt good to take down nine holes. This place is almost fully wooded, so the trees will be the ones after you here. There are some easy holes that'll help your score, and there are some brutal holes with trees spaced out.

-Dual pads on just about every hole. Just about every hole if not all of them have at LEAST two pin positions. Some holes here have three. So if you've been here once, there's a good chance your experience will be different the next time. Many of the alt. pins have you throwing down a different fairway. For instance, hole 14. There's a left pin position and a right pin position. From both it's a tough putter shot, but is much different. It's like this on many other holes too, such as 11, 15, 16, or 17.

-The tee signs are very accurate, and something that makes them stand out is how there are three small holes on each sign labelled "A", "B", and "C" and there's a ring in the hole that indicates which pin position you are playing. That was super cool. You won't have to walk up the fairway to look and see what you are aiming for to fire at.

-Interesting fairways. I liked many of them. You'll need every weapon you have with you to fight this course. There's a possibility that you throw every disc in your bag here.

-Hole 10 is the " ultimate hiding spot." It's the only open hole on these course. And luckily it's a huge hiding spot. It's the longest hole here and there aren't many trees you have to worry about, and luckily they aren't sharp shooters because they are easy to avoid. This was by a country mile and a trip to the saloon, the greatest hole on the course. The basket was in the C pin, which is 930' par 5 from the pad. Hole allows you to throw as far as you can without a lot of risk. Only risk is throwing a shank to the rightside which I did on my second throw, but was left with a short approach shot that made this hole an easy birdie for me. This is an easier hole for recreational players to try and make a five on. Oh and to make this hole even better, it has a 60+ elevation loss. Doesn't look that much downhill on the media, but you'll see every bit of it when you play here.

-Another neat hole was 17. It was in the B pin when I played. It's a dead straight 270' gauntlet. I loved this hole. I threw a judge and hit the basket but if I did anything different, I probably would've bogeyed this hole. Throw your straightest disc. The A pin is a left to right lefty hole or an ideal sidearm hole for a righty. The small gap is makes it equally difficult but still interesting. Course ends pretty easy with 18. The fight's just about over and this is your chance to fire one last shot. This hole is uphill and was in the 225' pin straight ahead. The long pin is another hole for a lefty or a sidearmer. But is still an easy par and potential birdie for a righty backhand thrower such as myself.

-Honestly, I wasn't overwhelmed with this course. Just hear me out, I didn't dislike it. I just got annoyed with some of the holes here. The main hole I disliked was hole 5. It was in the C pin, so it's uphill nearly 30'. It's one of those holes that I call a par 3 with a par 4 fairway. It's a dogleg right that turns right nearly 200'. At the bend, there are many trees lined up more than prepared to shoot you down. There's not a legit way to birdie this hole because there are many trees spread out but still aren't far from each other. You're bound to hit one. Didn't like 16 either; the line was only a little bit weird but wasn't too odd. The main issue with this hole was that it was kinda boring. Another issue was the approach shot on hole 9. You have to sneak through probably forty trees on the pin to the right. Same goes for the left pin. This course requires lucky sneak shots in a few places.

-Hole 4's fairway is really weird from the short pad. You can't throw a short shot that hyzers that much. It's a much better hole from the long pad because it allows a big hyzer that will have a bigger turn.

-#15's short pin position is horrible. Should not exist. The long pin is a pretty good par 4 down a more defined fairway to the left. The short pin is straight ahead and there are three trees that create two crapshoots. If the middle tree (the one next to the left tree on top of the hill) was cut, then this hole would drastically change for the better.

-While most holes were good. There wasn't as much shock given to me or my friend that came with me as we thought. It was mainly the odd fairways that we weren't fond of, but when we left, we said what we thought about the holes and we had to refresh our memories on a few of them.

-I hate to be sort of a downer here because people seem to really love this course. I liked it; it had some fun holes that looked very neat. Hole 10 was a true standout; one of the funnest holes I've played in Georgia. But I wasn't a fan of every hole here. Some holes seemed a bit repetitive and looked similar to each other and the holes that were similar were the ones with weird fairways that required odd throws. Yeah yeah yeah you trolls, I hear you "Stop getting mad and get better." The better a player gets, the lesser room they have to improve. Disc golf isn't that simple and life isn't always fair. Effort and practice won't always pay off during a round and you're going to have to find a way to be able to realize that and the fact that the world is not your friend no matter what BS you hear on TV or on the internet. Pipe down. I can't see how even touring pros can reach hole 5 in the C position here.

-There are two entrances. If you don't see any baskets in sight, or a huge meadow (hole 10) then you are in the other parking lot which is maybe a quarter mile away from the course. If you turn right on Hog Mountain Road, then turn left on the second entrance you see. If you turn left on the road, then take the first entrance you see. You might see a basket before you turn right in the parking lot.

-Course is very well groomed, so lost disc potential is low. The course is very polished. The grass was a little tall on hole 10 but did not convince me to throw short. If you haven't played here, then I'd recommend it. You'll love this place if you prefer wooded golf.

I loved this course! Super clean and all the stops were pulled. Every detail was thought of down to brooms on every teepad. Each hole was easy to follow from the signs being so well made. All lines are challenging and well defined but attainable. Fun course challenging almost every type of shot possible. Great shade and terrain. Would play it everyday if I could!

Not even a con but cause we did not see the directions from this site we found the park entrance for the DG course on the third try! Lol

Please build a replica of this course in south Florida!

I have only played just over a dozen courses so far, but this has to be one of the best courses in the state. Whoever designed this really knew what they were doing. It has a good mix of long and short holes, as well as elevation changes, and is quite challenging. Excellent signs, tee pads, and baskets. The baskets have multiple positions that do get changed sometimes.

Players that like to throw 600-foot drives may not like this course as much, since there's only one that lets you bomb (a par 5). There are a couple of holes that could use a few trees taken out, but you could say that for most courses out there.

The park itself is very large for a county park, and the disc golf course is just a small part of it. There are multiple entrances to the park, so be sure to go to the correct one. The entrance for disc golf also has a large pavilion, bathrooms, and a nice kids playground. I have since played this course several dozen times, and still have not tired of it. On Saturdays at 2:00 pm, you can show up for a random-draw doubles for a small fee. It's a lot of fun, and a great way to improve your game. If you find this course frustrating, I would recommend playing it multiple times, so you can learn all the holes, then come back and leave a review.

All the holes were challenging, even the shorter holes forced you to make accurate shots. This course is well kept and has nice teepads and brooms at every pad. There are also great directions as to how to get to each hole. All in all, this course it well planned out, however I wouldn't recommend it for beginners.

This course has a good mix of distance vs. shorter holes, but doesn't really have a variety of different types of throws to make. As a right hander, i recommend using a super stable disc at this park, because almost every hole is a hard left dog leg or a hard right dog leg. So it's either back hand and hard turn or side arm and hard turn for every tee shot. (I threw an Ape on every hole except 10 - Aerobie Epic)

On the outskirts of the small city of Dacula, Little Mulberry Park is home to an immaculate, timber-filled jewel of a disc golf course. While the park name contains the word "little," the course is far from timid or weak in its offerings.

The course will likely challenge intermediate players and frustrate amateur players. The lines in the woods are tight but makeable; however, a bad tree bounce will probably inflate your score.

The course requires careful shot management - and the risk versus reward conundrum is apparent on most holes. Due to this, score variance over multiple rounds is likely to be high - an attribute that I appreciate from a course. Great shots will be rewarded but some good shots might be punished.

The multiple teepads provide a nice variety. Lines from the long teepad definitely raise the ante and contribution to the mental challenge.

The teepad signs are the best and most detailed I've seen. Each sign contains distances from both teepads to both pins as well as the elevation change for each option. (However, the signs are only at the long teepad.)

There are only a few level spots on the course. The hilly terrain and curving slopes mean that accurate shot placement is vital. Several holes feature steep elevation changes.

The condition of this course was incredible. Extremely neat with no trash in sight. The dedication to maintaining the course's cleanliness is apparent. And the tree density provides an isolated and peaceful setting - until someone hits a tree, that is.

Because the course is mostly in the woods, a few of the holes might seem slightly redundant.

The potential for muddiness after inclement weather is likely. With such heavy tree cover, the course will likely take a few days to dry after a rainstorm, and the abundance of pine needles might add to the treacherous conditions.

The disc golf course at Little Mulberry Park appears to be the fabulous result of an incredible amount of work. Many thanks to Planet Earth Designs for their dedication.

Little Mulberry Park fits the definition of the best pure-woods course I've played to date. I was torn between giving a rating of 4.5 or 5.0, but I'm rounding up due to the course's excellent signage and pristine condition (and to help offset the two negative outliers).

- It's tough but great to course to get better
- Always on top of changing pins
- Two tee pads for each hole
- SUPER clean

- Hole 10 is a great distance hole but lots of people don't realize it's a disc golf course so they hang out in the fairway
- Lots of trees

This is one of the first courses I ever played and every time I play it I feel like I've gotten so much better because it's so hard. Super clean and a great hike.. it's definitely one of my favorite courses!

This is a nice course that I enjoy playing and is my favorite to play while in Gwinnett County. Lots of trees will test you to hit your lines or your score will rise. This course is really good if you want to test your skills in control and accuracy. This course is the polar opposite of Lenora Park where that is much more wide open. I do wish this course had more open fairways to give it some variety though. This course has a little of Alexander Park and East Roswell Park combined in that it has wooded fairways plus multiple basket placements. I highly recommend playing this course if you're in the area.

Disc golf at its most basic centers around the concept of FUN. To walk into a park and it completely nod its hat to the disc golfer is a beautiful thing to witness. This particular acreage on Little Mullberry Park seems to have been completely allotted to the disc golf community. A very clean entrance onto the course with a water fountain right on the first tee shows this park welcomes the disc golfer. Being 2 years old and still maintaining the fairways, rough, tee pads, and signage also shows their dedication. Before reviewing a course, i like to read all the other reviews as to not become redundant on particular subject matter. That being said i found that most of the reviews heckled the grounds crew for not cutting down enough trees or clearing the "rough" out around fairways and chains. I found this course to be designed and maintained to a distinct specification. the fairway lines and flight paths of players disc should be strained at times. there were times i wished a particular tree would walk itself a little left or right for my drive or approach, but where is the fun in that? at no point however did i think there were any obtrusive trees or group of trees keeping me from playing a shot. the fairways are wide enough with multiple lanes to throw on 90% of the holes. Having a few bombing par 4s and even a super exciting par 5 makes this course challenging to all skill levels. Mingling within these 18 holes are also a few ACE race pin placements. Disc golfers from beginners to PDGA tourney regulars will appreciate all this course offers. I appreciate courses as parks first. Then ill scrutinize the layout of their disc golf course. The course rolls through the woods so effortlessly with gradual doglegs, sharp doglegs, landing zones on Par 4 and 5s, and the ever challenging elevation changing approaches. No hole is the same. its one of the very few courses I've played where all the shots i have in my bag were pulled out and tested. some do to the fact that i flubbed up a line and decided to try another shot for fun. This course allows for a great practice course for players. Lastly, i must address the fact that there is a massive playground right next to the course. BRING THE WIFE AND KIDS! i played fairly quickly and knocked this course out in about 1.5-1.75 hours. this is a dog friendly course as well.

Without being redundant as i mentioned above, i feel as though if enough is said online about the lack of TRASH CANS on the course someone from Little Mullberry will see it! Other than that easily remedied problem, this park leaves me with nothing but satisfaction.

I will be back, and i will ACE those race holes! Killed me today getting so close to the pins without the sound of chains being thrashed by my disc while im still planted on the teepad!

Clean park and clear layout- This is a great location for a course- somehow you feel like you are part of a park, but on your own at the same time. This course has some of the most defined wooded fairways that I have seen. On almost all holes, it is clear what the course is asking you to do.

Challenging- Understand that this is not going to be a round where you can get away with a lot of bad throws. Almost every drive needs to hit the line or else you will be punished.

Two sets of tees- If you aren't up for the tough challenge of the back tees, go ahead and step up to the short tees and work on your putter/mid game. Two different experiences. Also almost every (if not every) hole has a bench at the back tee.

Great signage- metal rings indicate pin positions and are all kept up with. Signs also include elevation change which I don't recall seeing at any other courses.

Difficulty- Before you give me a "not helpful" click, hear me out. I feel that there are a few holes here that leave a bit too much to chance here. I've found myself thinking "that was exactly what I was going for" and being in trouble too many times.

Variety- Course can get a bit repetitive. It would be nice to have at least 2 or 3 more open or semi-open holes. Also, there are two holes (4 and 12) that are hard doglegs, both to the right. In the pin positions that I have played, there isn't a big need to be able to turn it hard right. Except maybe hole 5.

After the first time I played this course, I was left wondering why so many people loved it. After going back a few times, I am seeing why. My suggestion to those who will be able to play it multiple times would be to play the short tees first and then move back once you have the feel for the course... and maybe a little big of your confidence intact still.

Multiple pins and dual tees. There are par 3's, 4's, and one par 5. The fairways are tight on some holes but very fair. Only the short ones are super tight. There was a lot of variety in the shots and it doesn't favor righties or lefties. Great signage and all the long tee pads had brooms to sweep debris off the pads. The flow for the most part is very good and there were next tee posts after every basket. Immaculate condition.

Not many cons, but there could have a few more trash cans so people would not leave empty bottles and cans laying around. The walk from ten to eleven is a very long one.

I had so much fun playing this course. I enjoyed all the different holes and think that the course should be a solid 4. It is definitely in the top 10 for me.
