What is the best STRAIGHTEST fairway/mid disc?

The straightness of a disc depends on ones power level and throwing style.

If you have super clean form then a Comet, Fuse, Mako will go dead nuts straight.

If you are a lower power, newer player then a Skeeter, Cobra, Core, Shark will fly very straight.

If you are more of a power player then a Buzzz, Roc, GM, Pain will fly straight.

I know a guy who throws forehand only and his striaght mid is a DX Gator.

It varies for me, what goes straight one day versus the next.

Leopard turns right some days and gazelle is straight. Next day leopard is straight and gazelle is a little over stable. I keep a spectrum of discs in my bag so I can adjust to what is working for me that day.

I have always found the z buzz to have way too much fade to be considered straight, but I never stuck with one long enough to beat one in.

I use an Opto line striker. It is dead straight all the way down, and has enough glide to keep it going without having to really put full power on it. It also works great for thumbers.

I dont see any love for an element(evo plastic). Maybe because they are strictly a no wind tail wind disc or that they work for me and not many others. But they work great. lots of glide and little fade, with a tail wind i throw them 350 with a hyzer flip. I still throw rocks in most situations because nothing is like a dx rock but tunover or straight tunnel shots ive been throwing elements more and more. they feel great in my hand maybe yours too. try them out.
^^This.

Every time I think I've replaced my Evo Element, I pull it out and throw it and it makes it back into the bag. I like my Buzzz, and I'm liking my Hornet more every time I throw it, but the Element is an awesome straight mid. It will also hold any line I put it on -- I threw a beautiful anhyser with it last week, and it held it perfectly to within 15 feet of the basket.

The problem with the Buzzz is that when you power it down as an approach disc it develops a lot a fade (LSS) sometimes followed with a healthy little skip at the end....especially when thrown downhill. So if I need less than say a 90% throw, I've been using a Comet with much better success, it doesn't fade and settles right down at the end of it's flight.

I may have a freak Element, but mine is everything except straight. Thrown hard, it will turn quite a bit, and it has quite a bit of fade when it slows down. Some crazy lines can be thrown with it, but none of them are straight.

To answer the OP, Buzzz. But it does depend on power.

I get tons of fade off my Z buzzz, was speaking to a guy last week who agreed. I actually use it as my bh/fh approach disc when i need to bend around stuff. ???? (ON A FLAT THROW)
yeah, my Z's all have a bit of fade, and even my flat top ESP is a touch overstable

but my domey ESP is super straight, even flippy

My flat ESP is super straight, zero fade. It's getting pretty broken-in though, and hopefully it stays just the way it is now for a long time.

Even the z comet fades for me. It depends on power level. But I know a guy who throws DC and drives 450 and says the z comet is overstable for him. He's all about the x plastic, unless he's looking for overstable.

A few people have mentioned the cro. I find that star and dx cros give a good, straight line for a couple hundred feet then fade a bit. (I generally throw relatively low, fast line shots). I had an r-pro cro that held that straight line longer and faded even less. Haven't seen many of them around, but if you can find one it might end up being the straightest disc in your bag.
(not a tremendous amount glide though)
