Mids forehand?

I have a question for the average Joe that throws forehand. What midrange do you like to drive with the most? Realize that im not with perfect form and throwing putters 400 and drivers 650 like 1/2 you internet cats say you can. So far the gator is the only mid i can push past 200 and not burn with my oat XD. A few times with a vector also but nothing consistant yet

Buzzz is very forgiving for FH drives. If you are throwing an XD 200' without OAT and where you want it you are on the right track.

I throw all FH

I love XD's Zones and Wizards for putters each has its own use...

Mids I just throw Comets and Buzzz's. THe Comet can be very tricky but will help you with your form...

Hope that helps.

Try and find a flat Buzzz maybe just a bit heavier than what you throw most of the time to start with. I like Elite X plastic and Z. I used to throw ESP but it is not as stable IMO.

The Z Buzzz is what I used to learn FH throwing. I'm now using a Z Buzzz, Vector and Axis. Tho the Axis is very Buzzz like I still use it on those shots where I might loose my Buzzzzzz, cuz my Buzzzzzz izzz my baby ;) Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

My champ gator is so good for forehands, but it just doesnt go very far. So i just use a good and beat in fairway driver.

All my plastic is max weight, except my 150 japan wood roc, now thats a tricky FH thrower!!!

buzzz for a true mid... also like zones a lot for this slot as you can give them some power on an anny line and get them to travel pretty far, but also use a whippet as a longer midrange disc. It's classified as a driver, but it is so overstable and has no glide that it acts more like a mid than a driver... you can also get good skips out of it to give it a chance to go in if it's around the basket.

Ya know I need to look at a Zone, that disc seems to be used alot by people around this forum. I just don't see them at my local courses.....

I use my DX Roc on occasion but can't give it more than 150ft. of power without burning worms (I have bad FH form). I did enjoy the Lat 64 Pain until I sent it to a watery grave.

I primarily use the drone. At high speeds it stays dead straight. It's really nice for a sharp get-out-of-trouble anhyzer that you don't want to turn into a roller. I don't forehand buzzzes often, but they fly pretty clean for me when I do.

Those new glow champ gators are the shizz forehand. Probably true with most Gators.

Ions are great FH too, btw.

Mids I just throw Comets and Buzzz's. THe Comet can be very tricky but will help you with your form...

Agreed, a comet is a great mid that will also help form.

Also consider a Buzz SS. The lower outer rim is beveled instead of curved, something I prefer for clean flick releases. More forgiving than a comet, less glide, tad bit more lss imo.

The Warship has been a fantasic forehanding mid. Just stable enough to take a good pull. The Pain is good as well, but you have to get some heighth on it.

My forehand sucks, but I have seen many good FH players throw the Z Buzzz. Anybody can chuck a mega over stable disc like a Zone, Drone or Gator, but guys with good FH's seem to do well with less over stable discs. Warship is intriguing. I have been messing with one backhand. It might be a really good forehand mid. Feels good, and is a little faster than a Buzzz.

All this stupid overstable stuff people throw.

You dont need a special sidearm disc unless you are a torque monkey.

I don't throw a Buzzz but it is a great FH disc, used to use it for that. I throw my rocs every now and then FH though.
