Have "thumber" Aces ever happened?

Im asking this because Ive come very close to getting an ace with a thumber, just curious as if anyone else has, yesterday at valley view hole 16 I threw a thumber over the tree, it hit the ground and bounced vertical and nailed the bottom basket. Previously I had a thumber chain out on that hole aswell.

I hit hole 14 at Lincoln Ridge with a PD on my birthday. Bounced in front of the basket and crashed into the chains. I've also witnessed a friend get one with a Firebird on hole 17 at Boone Woods. His went in in the air.

I have one but it's tree assisted. I hit a branch and it fell straight vertically into the basket. I dunno the odds of that but they have to be astronomical.

Didn't Barsby get a roller ace at DeLa? That's impressive.

My Mom lives in San Diego and says she saw the local course pro (idk who that would be) get a roller ace on Hole 7. I believe it was the E pin which is 405, just into the woods. Hit a root on the way in.

Roller ace is a life goal of mine. Sometimes I throw rollers on really wooded throw-and-pray holes and just hope. Had one bounce completely over the basket at Elver 8 once. And Token/Cap Springs both have holes with large rocks in front of each pin - I like to just line rollers at the rocks and hope for the bounce in.

It would be cool to see a roller ace on video.

It is on my bucket list. I would like another forehand one because the one I am sitting on was a really short hole needing a skip. Not a bad ace, but I would like one in the air because forehand is a throw I rarely use, but I have been working on it this year. Five metals but nothing to show for it.

I saw Mike Mattos of Fresno thumber ace a basket at Woodward Park. It went right through the top of the basket. These were new baskets that Innova had made at the time and are now no longer legal. Being a 51 guy, I gave him $5. If he did it today I would only give him $1.

Just a tomahawk for me. For me, it was a Predator. My Firebird tends to come down more vertically, making aces less likely. My Pred comes down at a bit more of an angle, so cha-ching! Funny enough, the only reason I threw my Pred on that shot is that I had lost my Firebird earlier in the round.

Wasn't there a really long thumber throw-in for "eagle" in that Vegas tournament 2 or 3 years ago? JC or someone, one of those thumber experts. Probably a Nuke OS.

Didn't Nate Doss have a roller ace sort-of on video a few years ago? Or is my memory failing. Again.

I've personally witnessed one on a blind hole that we thought was just a group behind us holing out. On the same hole I also witnessed a chain out from the shorter tee. They do happen but not often. I came close to one that was on a 270' hole but I recently decided to only throw OHs if I'm in jail or have no other choice, as I feel that OHs off the tee are bad for the game and the health of players. The only thing worse is when someone is in a wide open shot and decides to OH bc they don't have the ability to put a mid on the basket from 150'.
