Yes I have. Specifically yellow platinum evo that is stamped with a Homer stamp. It is about RFF in flex and hand feel. It has a medium shoulder and flies less stable than my SSS and Purple Haze blend wizards. Great putting putter, but not the driving wizard I was looking for at all.

The best driving wizards I have thrown were the g9i's. Awesome throwers, but I cracked two of them and went on a hunt for a premium plastic disc that flies like it. The limited Gold line Mercy flies almost exactly the same. I have 5 new g9i's that won't see any action now.

Does anyone know if I can still mail Gateway one of my putters and have them match it? I've got this really firm, chalky SS Wizard with a high shoulder that I love but can't seem to find a match at any of the stores I go to.

I just got a pair of PWP wizards, and holy moly are these things beautiful. Absolutely love the stiffness and grip combo of these putters. Slightly less rigid than G9i w/awesome grip. Highly recommend these for those who haven't tried them out and like stiff putters.

When I was working on putters and driving with putters this past winter, I found the Supersoft Wizard to be about the right firmness for me, and it was a good driving putter. I don't like putting with it in the circle, but it was good for driving.
For long(er) putts, it was decent but I prefer the P2 for those throws.
My 2 Supersoft Wizards are 168 and 173g. If I were to buy another one, it'd likely be the 172-175g weight area.

I like Super Stupid or "soft" Special Blends for long putts. For one it helps that they beat in relatively fast and that understability helps on really long putts, but the extra grip helps it not slide away if you miss and leaves you a shorter comeback putt.

Evo HPP plastic is the most overstable that I've thrown, but the plastic kills a bunch of great things about the Wizard, not the mention sapping the little bit of glide Wizzes have to start. Most of the blends are part of the same "series" so any of the baseline plastic types are going to fly fairly similarly.
On long putts, I tend to focus on spin and nose-up. This keeps me on target without sailing past when I inevitably miss.
Jump/step putt, More wrist, figure out your height. I find that I need to make sure my wizards get above the basket on longer putts. If I get the apex high enough they are in.
The most overstable wizards, in my opinion, are the SB-13 and SB-14 blends. These are extremely flat, stiff and velvety. Start out extremely overstable, and are very slow to wear.
Next up would be Evo wizards. If you can find the old translucent plastic Evos that came out 2-3 years ago, these are beefcakes. Great for forehands and headwind upshots.
Finally I would say the Soft blends. These start out overstable, and beat in to be straight to flippy. These are my go to putting putters.
With regards to longer putts, have you tried using a Magic? Slightly understable for me, but if I snap it out on hyzer it flips up flat and holds a straight line. Great for outside the circle, and any anhyzer putts.

I just started using a wizard again, its been since I started, so 10 years? I know its a well known putter and all around great availability and price etc etc and a lot of people use it. I picked up a Gray swirly Lunar Wizard. I am completely uninformed about Lunar plastic...but its almost like innova Pro. Its not crazy durable at all, but feels nice and grippy once its worked in. The Wiz is flying nice and glidely and stable. Almost aced a short hole and been hitting chains and pin a lot. I like it as my throwing/short range putter for running it outside of 50 ft. I putt with it sometimes, but still mainly putt Pa3. I like this as a longer putter because of the glide. Wizard really is a mold that stands the test of time.

I've got a few wizards and they are wonderful putters. I pretty much settled on the organic one. Then I finally got around to ordering a G9i wizard and it showed up this morning so I took it out to the course on my lunch break. I do believe she will be a long term addition to my bag. There is absolutely no give in this disc and it fly's straight as an arrow. Was easily cashing in longer putts I've been struggling with. Ahhhhhhh Gateway you make such fine products.

I've owned many Wizards in my life.
I recently started bagging a new blend that I truly believe is the best I've ever felt for tee work.
The PWP, or "Pure White Proto" Wizards are very similar to the Fossil run that I had produced. They're stiff, flat as can be and are quite OS for a Wiz.
Fresh off the shelf I was able to throw some distance smashes in the 315-330 range that were just eye popping.
The best part however is the plastic. It's a near dead ringer for 10x KC. If the PWP plastic was available in Rocs, folks would be paying $50 a pop for them. It's THAT good.
Seriously, Wizard fiends owe it to themselves to try these out.

Where do glow Wizards fall? I'm throwing a glow that is the most over stable Wiz I've personally thrown.
