Blueberry just tied Flip City!

So Flippers meet your new enemy PA Frolfer...hahahahaha! The battle for top spot could be a Seinfeld Episode I swear.

I don't think he rated it badly though! I have always expected FLip to be highly overrated compared to other courses out there.

The fact that he says it isn't that challenging makes perfect sense to me as many good "hard" courses on here are rated lower than they should IMO.

I never played it....it does seem to be a great recreational course thats fun but not truly a challenge...I agree that the best courses are underrated on here...I just enjoy watching the war for 1st...it seems that theres one guy who makes up a ton of reviews for flip on different IP addresses...maybe not true but this reality cracks me up so I choose to believe it.

i choose to believe it too. and i don't know what is more sad, the possibility that that one guy exists or that i can't help but watch!

i think that guy just needs to get out and play a bit more disc golf.

If there is one guy doing most of the 5s I admit that is pretty sad.

Geoff Bennet talked about this course in a good way saying he loved playing there but from what I got out of it he thought it was a better fun course than a tournament course.

That, or every time he meets someone new he uses their computer. That's pretty funny too. I think we all know, it's just Tom.

I voted the 3-disc Flip Review as helpful, which it truly is from the perspective of someone who's looking for a long, challenging, champ-caliber course. Flip is a phenomenal course, definitely in my personal Top 5, but I can understand why someone would rate it "low." I can just envision the Flippies clamoring to have the review removed, but it's not your typical one-sentence 5-disc (or 1-disc) review written to positively (or negatively) affect the average rating.

However, given that this new reviewer has only listed Flip and Blueberry as played and has only reviewed Flip so far, I wonder what the Blueberry review will be like...definitely more distance out there, big elevation...maybe that's more up his alley?

I haven't played flip yet so I can't complain about his review...but his name on the other hand...PA Frolfer

Another reason to believe him!!!

If a guy plays "frolf" and thinks the course isn't challenging then it probably isn't too hard.

I find his review helpful and I like honesty.

I bet neither are #1 on any tournament players list.........

Sorry but I had to do it.
I'll bet for every tournament player, there are about ten rec players. I'll also bet an ample proportion of those rec players don't give two cents what tournament players think, especially when tournament players act as though their opinion is gospel.

Also the most challenging course does not necessarily equate to the "best" course, although I'll respect anyone who wishes to make challenge the sole important criteria in doing their reviews. A challenging, ballbusting course will net a high score from me, but if its only intended for pros, it probably won't get above a 4 from me, especially if its on public land.

Sorry but I had to do it. (Come to think of it I'm not sorry at all).

Review of the City of Flip by Disc Sucker:

Pros: This course is i-ite.

Cons: Ain't no Bluebury or WidleIsle.

Otherthoughts: Since I'm so good at life, this course is merely "meh." Suck it.

Hey PAfrolfer, where are all these other courses you've played? Where is the "Centralia Foundation" review that should supposedly be better than Flip City?? What you just gonna review the top 2 courses and dip out for good?

yeah cause none of the 5 disc flip reviews are like that:popcorn:

Well, in the PAfrolfer reviews. They state that they have played other top courses like Idlewild, Holler in the Hills, Oregon courses, etc. So i'm just sayin, if your gonna say you played all these courses, why not at least even put them in your "played courses" list? And if these other courses are so much better, then why only review Flip and Highbridge?

Highbridge/Flip/Idlewild have a lot of hit and run reviews that are clearly fake. But i'm just trying to see if these most recent ones are fake or not.
