Top of your wishlist for 2011

My five in alpabetical order -
Charlotte, NC area
Flyboy Aviation in Whiteburg, GA
Horning's Hideout in OR
Nockamixon in Quakertown, PA/Allentown area
St. Louis, MO area

I don't want to pick one particular course cause if I'm going to travel somewhere to play I want to hit up multiple courses in one area.

Well, I am hoping to get to play Idlewild and Kensington Tobb. I should be able to get both when I go to my cousins wedding in June (The Same Weekend as Am Nats, does anyone know if the course is set up before am nats for general play?) Other than than, I am really nto sure what to put on my list. Guess it may depend on my job situation.

To my understanding they have the Toboggan course set up for at least a week before the tournament and may a week afterwards. You may want to double check with someone else about that though.

Hmmm...

Lake Russell
Fontana Dam
Cedar Rock/Wellspring

and the biggest one of all the soon to be Funky Modena, Bradley Center DGC.

I will be realistic:

Lake Russell
Indian Creek
Rainbow City
Lake Point Park
The Monty

Eastern PA road trip:
Tyler State Park
Jordan Creek

Delaware road trip:
Iron Hill and Carousel

Western PA road trip:
Deer Lakes State Park
Moraine State Park

tyler and jordan are nice courses

Morley Field
Fountain Hills
Thats all there is for "must play" thats realistic for the time being. Mabe a few in Flagstaff on the way back from Phoenix.

The top 5 that I actually think I have a chance of playing in 2011.
1. Woodshed/Whippin' Post in PawPaw, WV
2. Flyboy Aviation
3. Wisp Deep, MD (my last MD course)
4. Hyzer Creek, NY
5. Tyler State Park, PA

Top 5 that I know I will not play 2011
1. Idlewild
2. Flipcity
3. Circle R rolling Medow
4. Highbridge (all)
5. Beaver Ranch

Deer Lakes State Park
Moraine State Park

Let me know when you do these trips, I have Tyler on my list and I need to go back to Jordan to write a fair review.
Iron Hill and Carousel are both long tough courses.
I need to hit Moraine and should play Deer Lakes again since I rushed it last time.

Sweet! I'm taking a little joint recuperation break at the moment, but when I start playing again I would definitely like to see if we can coordinate a road trip or three.

And if you ever head out to Fredneck, Seneca or one of the Baltimore courses, shoot me a PM.

I want to do a southeast trip and hit Flyboy, the IDGC and some of the awesome NC courses. I also want to get out to some of those beautiful wooded courses in Pennsylvania. We really want to get back up to Highbridge too.

Not in any order. And live in Utah but get to Texas every now and again.

Base adventure camp Moab,ut
Lake Walcott Idaho
Ridge bible Church? Austin, texas
Circle R wimberly, tx
Shawshank.

ones i actually should get to play:
giles run
new seneca
rockburn
new quarter (helped design it but haven't played since baskets went in...)
the betty j queen intergenerational center in louisa va (what a name...new design going in)
franklin park - purcellville va (new design, baskets just went in)
ocala florida (planning for later this month)
cliff stephens and coachman clearwater fl (planning for later this month)

ones it is very unlikely i'll play (but at least there's some chance):
flyboy
idlewild
iron hill/carousel
moraine/deer lakes
maple hill

If I am going to make the trip, I might as well squeeze in two courses each time:
1. Iron Hill & Carousel Park, DE
2. Deer Lakes & Knob Hill Park, PA
3. Hawk Hollow & Burke Lake Park, VA
4. Hyzer Creek & Warwick Town Park, NY
5. The Woodshed & Timberdoodle Thicket, WV

none of your last 3 pairings are anywhere near each other... burke lake is a solid hour+ from hawk hollow... other 2 are even farther apart...

My Grandmother lives up by Hyzer so we were going to stop and play Warwick on the way up. Then play Hyzer the next day.

Same with Hawk and Burke. We have family in Roanoke and are going to make a road trip out of it. May stop at other courses if we have time.

West Va courses would be a two day road trip with a stay at motel.

I would love to make it to TX. Some really nice courses out your way. Maybe in 2012.

On a limited time budget:

Flyboy.

I'm tired of hearing people tell me how great it is.

I want to start telling other people how great it is.
