Has Anyone Bagged All The Courses In Your State?

Or any other state. I'm curious as to who has played the highest % of their state's courses. I hope there is someone who has played BOTH Rhode Island's courses. Obviously, the small NE states like Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire should be a little easier with them only having from 2 to 12 courses.

I've hit 35 of 45 in Washington. There are 4-5 more that will be fairly easy but man those last 5 are going to be killers. Three to four hour drives away, hidden on top of mountains. One terrible course on an island reached only by ferry.

I see that Olorin has bagged 75 out of North Carolina's 92. Now that's an impressive % which I think will be difficult to top.

If you're a Texas or a California player, then the cards on certainly stacked against you in this endeavor, huge states with 100+ courses.

I'm looking to hear from folks with this goal in mind.

I live in the wrong state for that but I do eventually want to play them all. I'm at 46 of 189.

They are building courses faster than I can play the established ones. Maybe I'll quit my job and start a blog called "200 Texas courses before 2010" and start selling discs to fund the endeavor.

at one point i had played all the courses in va but that was years ago- now there are at least a dozen out of 50 or so i haven't played.

I need to get on the ball I guess... I've only played 19 of 38 courses here in Mississippi

but I've also played 17 of 31 in Alabama

I've been traversing North Carolina since 1998 trying to play every course in the state. I've played every public and private course in NC that was installed before Jan 2006, but since then the rate of new installations has increased and my travel time has decreased, so I haven't been able to keep up with all the new courses. I've currently played ~101 NC courses, but some of the private ones aren't on here, and a few are extinct now.

I think that I've played more NC courses than anyone else, but if someone has played more I'd like to know about them.

Yep Olorin, I'm pretty sure you're the Tarheel champ!

I've got just about zero chance of hitting all the courses in Texas. But as the same time I've got just about zero desire to do that. Just not worth the time and resources it would take.

I love wasting time and resources. I am a disc golfer after all. :)

I didn't think people in Austin wasted anything...? Isn't that the recycling capitol of... of... something?

If I were to tackle a task something like that, I'd much rather waste my resources on something like hitting the top 5 courses in every state. Seems like that would be a much more motivating task than knowing you were gonna drive a couple hours to play a 1-star, 9-hole course just to cross it off your list.

24 out of 135... But I should be hitting a lot more coming up soon. We'll have to see if that goes well. At least I've played most of the good courses.

Has there ever been a better idea than this?

Tennessee- I have played 20 of 42 listed on DGCR. But one of my major goals is to play every single one. The state can be divided into 3 sections- I have played all in the Middle third. I plan to knock out every one in the Eastern third this summer.

TN is so long East to West, and I live right in the middle, there are so many courses closer to me that are in other states (KY, AL, MS, GA, IL!!!) Most of those I have played as well (i.e. Bowling Green, KY and Huntsville, AL).

Once I get TN, my next goal will be to conquer the state of Kentucky.

And where's a representative from the great state of New Hampshire. With seven (7) courses, you could almost hit em all in one day.

That would be a record! I played every course in my state in one day!!!!!

That's it. I'm flying off to Rhode Island to maybe be the first to play every course in a state on one day.
