I liked your review of Mosley. I just played it again on Saturday after missing it for about a year. If you liked it, you would love White Oak in Dallas GA.
You're welcome, I tried finding videos of forehands but the best I can find are already ones that have been posted multiple times. Avery's is probably the best to watch the weight transfer and the front foot pivoting, although it looks like he releases early.

The one with Big Jerm he's not throwing hard enough to really get his body into it, but watch his wrist as he's showing how he says to get his body into it (about 2:50). The wrist is actually cocked back a little so that when he gets to "there" he can snap his wrist back to straight and it will add a little more spin. You don't want to cock it way back, just a little, and most of that will happen automatically when you pull through. I think the reason he gets more distance than Avery is because of that little bit, getting more extension at the very end.

It's gonna be hard to explain in words but yes there is. Just like backhand there is a body turn and defined weight shift so that you can get your body into a forehand. If you've played baseball at all, your coach probably would have taught you how to step into the swing. It's very similar to how you approach a forehand.

    Step by step would be:
    1. Start the modified X step
-you don't really 'X', but the idea is to get your left hip (RHFH) pointed more toward the target, so that your reachback (not quite as exaggerated of a reachback as backhand) is 180 degrees from your release point. Just like stepping into the swing while batting.

    2. Your weight just before pulling through should have shifted from your right to left leg. Just like backhanders shift weight.

    3. The pivot should be the same as well, heel to toe as you pull and follow through.
True. Perhaps I can rub some Jergens on my discs to keep them moist. As far as trees go, I guess I just have to wait until Christmas to play amongst the tree lots.
Thanks bud. He is definately a character, and pretty entertaining. He never fails to surprise me with comments.
You know it! For reals, hit me up next time you mob through. Charlotte is getting more courses put in as we speak. Unless you stayed a full week, there is no way you would be able to play all of 'em.
You know, I was just gonna mention to you that it's only about a 6 hour drive to Charlotte for you! Funny that you mention that. You should come up here at least for at least about 4 days. It would be worth your while for sure. You would spend more time out playing some PHAT didge than you would hangin' around that certain guy you dont like. It'd be good times.
I see you finally made it to Russ Pond. I pretty much agree with everything you said.

Its fun to safari though, especially if you tee over water (e.g. throwing at 5's basket from across the big pond or 7's basket from across the smaller one).

Keep an eye out for that Benning tournament next year. They did a good job.
I find it hard to believe they're beating in that quickly. Z is very tough, but some people like Gators. I personally don't throw anything that over stable as a Mid. Haven't thrown a Hornet, so I can't comment on it that much. But, I'd say the Gator is probably close to the Drone. I'm not really sure. I've thrown a Gator a few times, but as I said. I don't carry anything that over stable in my mids. Roc's all I need, lol.
Thanks man, appreciate the good words. Hope you get a disc down that you like, it can be hard, I know.
couple months back, my roommate and i were in town to play in a guitar competition at CSU.
flat rock is AWESOME! you guys have quite a special course there. i heard there are going to be alternate pin locations...? all the locals were really nice too, i was out playing during the sunday morning mini and a bunch of people said hi and told me to come out at 10 for the mini next week. i wrote a glowing review, definitely one of my favorite courses!

i'll be back in columbus at the end of June, the school is hosting a big guitar festival and competition and me a few friends will be heading out. we'll have to catch a round!
haha yes actually. How close are you to Fly Boy? I've been trying to plan a trip to Columbus coming up soon, and get my fill of all it offers. Also, bearded Georgians have to stick together to prevail in this mad society.
