I first played disc golf in high school, 4 years ago, but didn't really get into it until a year later when the Worlds came through Kansas City. That got me motivated to start playing more often.
$25 for the KC Worlds Star Monarch. I really liked that disc, but lost it somewhere. I wish they would make Monarchs in star plastic instead of champion plastic...although my only ace is with a champion monarch.
I have a 168g Dart that was my go to putter for 2 years. I made some pretty great putts with it, but I recently switched to the MVP Anode. They are very similar, I just like the feel of the Anode better. That beat to crap orange 168g DX Dart will always have a place in my heart though.
I don't play much in wind, but the times I have played in steady 20-25 mph winds, I find a 175g Star Wraith works pretty well for me. I have yet to figure out how to putt or throw a solid mid range shot in the wind though.
