Go with the DISCatcherzzz like the ones in Alton, Rock Spring Park. We got 12 of them from the now defunct Principia College course. Keep you eye out, maybe you can find some used ones as well.

I had a sponsor, Attorney Tim Campbell, donate $6000 for all 18 concrete Tee Pads which were put in by Virgill Mead Concrete in Rock Spring Park, Alton, IL. They also used a red dye that mixed in with the concrete to give it a more natural clay, brick look. The dye was by request of the Park.

Found some money, discs, TRASH (AHHHHHHuG) underware, tires, glasses, tags and of course a good time.

4.00 star(s) UPDATE New concrete tee pads. Paths getting worn down for better navagation. Maps available in box on pavillion. All trees that fell during bad storm are removed. Signage and better directions on the way. The new tee pads are great!!! Kiosk, and benches also to follow. PROGRESS AS PROMISED.

This week we are installing 5' x 10' rectangle tee pads in Rock Spring Park. Alton, IL.

I went right to the parks dept. and talked to the director. I made the presentations and got the captian of another course in a town 20 miles away to back me up. After a few years they finally said OK. I got the park and we found some discatcher baskets from a private course that was not in use...

At my home course, on the second hole you have to throw over a walking path from the tee box. This could have been avoided by moving the tee box across the path.

Not a good idea in my opinion. What about cars and people?
