Win a Jeep Renegade with a Ace

Available each round, if you hit AN ace.

Any idea on the cost to insure a prize like that for all players, each round? Gotta be pretty steep.

My guess is it's a local dealership putting on the promotion.

The cost of the insurance is probably pretty high in disc golf terms, but a small drop in the marketing budget for the dealership.

Thats actually a decent list of committed players. Luis Nava is their sponsored pro, and had made a big deal of not being able to play. Maybe Salient came through and paid for an airline ticket for him?

The massages for the players is a great idea too. Wonder if it will be Kilgus and staff doing it themselves? Either way thats a nice little treat for those players.

Also...if the Chrysler family is really a sponsor (and with these guys you never really now) that is a pretty huge deal. In no way should that be overlooked. I also really hope its some local no name who hits the ace and wins a Jeep. Not to knock the high profile pros, but it would juat be more epic that way.

The only problem is....Im still not convinced. That list is carefully worded as "committed players" not "registered players." Its also a pretty small list...smaller still if you take out the locals and Luis Nava who may or may not actually be there.

I can't imagine a glut of players signing up between now and then, either.

Guarantee it's a local car dealership sponsoring the tourney, not the actual Chrysler family.

That dealership is so wanting the sponsorship exposure and sooooo not wanting someone to hit that ace! Haha, fingers crossed.

What was the point of them making a new site. It's all the same information just with a list a "committed" players. I enjoy that they have a list of ADGT members but Wysocki isn't on that list

"Join The ADGT to help keep Disc Golf on ESPN!"

Only YOU can prevent the ADGT from remaining on ESPN

How does the American Disc Golf Tour differ from other tours just recently announced or that preceded the ADGT?

The ADGT is the only professional and amateur disc golf tour with rights to broadcast live events on ESPN Networks (ESPN 2/ESPN 3). Unlike some of our predecessors our #1 priority is to promote disc golf to the general public with the help of ESPN Networks. We are fully committed to attracting new fans to the sport while also engaging current fans.

Nikko, feldberg and Owens are. Maybe Ricky is short on cash or they are working on a deal for his course design help.

Either way I wonder if they are doing what some pdga a and b tiers do, when they post registered top players early, who have no intention of showing up. Just a ploy to get more registrations.

Only time will tell I guess.

Rim Depth 5-7% of Total Diameter

The MVP Spin that was just released should be submitted for approval, however it's Rim (1.5) to Diameter (21.0) or (7.14%) make it an Illegal Disc. Also the Black Zombie Chainsaw would also be illegal to use.

A set equipment standard (i.e. disc catching targets) for all live events has been recommended by ESPN. To date a standard target has not been enforced with previous leagues. The division between brands in regards to manufacturing of our professional targets has made the sport less attractive to corporate sponsors and casual fans that could be easily confused by differing targets in major events.
