Drug Testing?

When they said Drug Testing would be done, I thought they meant FREE SAMPLES

The condoms should have been the "snugger fit" kind.

the kinks will be ironed out on their own. it's a free market. the best products for disc golf will move by way of the invisible hand to rightfully dominate disc golf product placement. maybe disc golfers need magnums? i was just tossing an idea out there. if the demand is for magnums, they will come, they will come. it will be capitalism at it's finest. not this pdga regulated market image bs. socialism, i tell you! that's what's keeping disc golf back!

Lol...its like a People of Walmart pic meets corporate sponsorship. We need to take what we can get. Tobacco companies in Europe sponsor many youth sports programs.

you have to understand that this is only the beginning. eventually as wealthy and more talented people are drawn to disc golf, higher end products will be drawn in. you see, in a free market people equally compete against each other and natural talents are drawn-out the members of a society. eventually, because of human nature and genetic attraction, people will separate themselves into different classes. from these different natural classes, different classes of disc golf will come to be. right now, because disc golf has been under the regulating hand of the pdga and it's free market desires are held back, it is has been stagnated. if left to nature, disc golf will evolve properly according to its inner nature. let disc golf grow! no more intervention!

Nike disc golf..."Get Hyzer".

cbssports.com:
Nike's "Get High" shirts became available on June 1 in conjunction with the launch of an action sports campaign. The "Dope" shirt shows the image of a pill bottle upended with surfboards and skateboards pouring out. Not all the shirts have controversial terms. Other shirts include the phrases "F Gravity" and "Get Wet." "Its part of the culture."

The hilarious part is that this whole thread stemmed from the live coverage. The aspect ratio on the coverage was incorrect causing EVERYONE to look a good deal wider than they actually are.

Some guys can go out and rip bong hits all day and still manage to play well.
Some can get piss drunk and play BETTER.
But who among you can ride the dragon and still perform on the course?! Even with Jesus tying your tourniquet?

On a serious note, PEDS are everywhere, and are easy to find with this new internet craze.
I am a scrawny tall guy, always have been, but I would never want to take some that could give me bacne, make me beat my girl, or shrink my testes, just to throw a few feet further.
I'm sure someone can tell us what PEDs do what and that not all have these problems, but still, drugs won't make you hit tight tree gaps, add new shots to your arsenal, or extend your putting circle.
BUT, t if there is some magical, mystery drug that does those things with no adverse side affects, I'll guinnea pig 'em :D

FYI, alot of professional athletes take PEDs not just for bro gains (getting jacked and muscular). PEDs greatly benefit older players with recovery, strength, and stamina.

If the PDGA ever drug tests, the older players will be at a disadvantage.

I think this whole idea is unnecessary at this point.
Until we have a huge sponsor that says they won't contribute their funds until the field is tested, it seems wasteful.
I'm not sure how testing is going to attract larger sponsors unless the PDGA or another org puts on a "Our athletes are drug free" campaign. Otherwise, how will the world magically know Disc Golf now has drug free athletes? Will that suddenly change the minds of companies who might have entertained us in the past?
I also think if you're testing for marijuana, why not test for alcohol. It seems short sighted to test for one thing and not the other when one is obviously just as dominant and abused in our sport.
Let's get that blood alcohol level tested the morning of, shall we? Too much? okay here, blow into this breathalyzer.
