Harley Horse

This one is a cool story. A friend of mine brought me this sketch and asked "Can you put it on a disc?"
I said "I can try. What is it?"

He went on to tell me that his uncle drew it in 1975, and was killed in an auto accident a few years later. My friend is a bad ass photographer and has been thinking about this "Harley Horse" as a copyright logo for his photos.

im confused as to what the middle part of the horse man thing is supposed to be. is he riding the horse or is he part of it and instead of reins is it supposed to be handlebars?

I think the horse is a sort of flesh-machine hybrid, where his middle is the "harley" part of him.
