Many of the pros play the GCC in Vegas, then swing over to AZ for the Memorial the following week.

Plus the Prodigy trio of Catrina, Sarah, and Paige. No Val, it looks like. Unless she's a late entry.

Looks like a pretty decent list of big names to me.

i think its a question of finances. i would imagine alot of pros who have "stationary" jobs skip on that tourny so they can go to memorial and other bigger tourns.

personally tho....for some reason, I want to play the GCC more than the Memorial. idk why

It tells you something about the Events in Vegas when you go from playing 30-40 Events a year to 12 last year (6 my own Events) and only 6 this year (2 my own Events) that 2 of them each year are in Vegas (GCC since 2nd year and Halloween Classic since 1999)!!!

This will be the first year since 1999 that I won't be playing the Bob West / Memorial Event.

VEGAS BABY!

actually I hated Vegas!!!! The Valley of Fire and the Spring Mountains is where I really enjoyed and spent most of my time when I was there.

I think it has more to do with that I think the Memorial courses look boring as heck.

keith likes to throw hyzers...

i agree that desert courses are not overly interesting for the most part.

I wonder what happened yesterday. Weather looked to be beautiful. A lot of big names (McBeth, Doss, Koling, Rico) shot 20-30 points under their rating. Windy day today. We'll see how things shake up after round 2.

I heard something about Mcbeth wearin a knee brace and havin a tougher time this past week locally, but rumors are rumors so we'll see.
